Nandu jumped 6 feet up in the air by that bhaoo...

O god you will never change... I said in my mind...

Nandu and me both turned to look at the third member of our breed... that is none other than YUG..

YUG... was 2 years elder than me and of same age of nandu... and her bestiee... actually he was bestiee of us all coz he was the only guy who never gets affected by any bad situation.. he knows to smile through all odds and that makes him our special favorite.

there were always speculation of something cooking between him and nandu... but they had always the same dialogue... "we r just good friends".. gosh I used giggle whenever this topic came up...

I knew yug would come to receive us...

"yug do you have any shame.. you scared me the moment I step here.."

" ooo hello Miss Bhopal... no body is interested in scaring you .. but hey I have to be careful at night now... what say tara..."

Yug highfived me and I joined in with him for the teasing...

"whatever... "nandu made a disgusted face to which we again giggled...

"baba ..pls lets go home.. or else they wont leave me..."

"wait nandu... adi promised he will come... lets see if this late latif gets us in time.." baba said with his eyes searching in all direction...

ADI... Aka ADITYA... Mritunjay's younger brother and youngest of the breed... as all young siblings he too is loved and pampered by us all.. and as every young member of the group he too he careless about everything.. and again he is never ever on time...

"but baba he will be late as always... I m dying of hunger.."

" maa.. nandu is more interested in your allo paratha,, that's why so much drama"yug said cutting her in between...

"hello mister nobody is talking with you..." Then again turning to maa..."pls maa lets go... Baba you inform him that we left.."

"no." I said instantly and it was quite loud..

Everyone looked at me with blank expression..

"I mean adi will feel so disheartened to hear we left without him... I mean I know he is late ..i mean we should wait... I mean he will be here in no time ... I mean.."

"oohooo tara we got what you mean... why r you fumbling...?" yug said as I knew even I was not understanding wat I mean...

Yug came near my ears to say..." I know honey wat you mean but to meet him you have to reach home.."

Listening that a hot blush creept into my cheeks...

Yes yug knew about me liking him... He knew how I used to stare at him all day... how I used to fail to complete my lunch at school drooling over him... He knew I went to him with stupid doubts of maths as he was 2 class ahead of and although I was topper in my class...

"ooppsss.. somebody is getting tomato red.." yug said with a wink and as softly as possible so that only I can hear it...

" yug... Does he remember me?" I asked with a hope...

" I don't think so anyone in this world can forget to breath..."

That one sentence of yug told me what I was for him.. as nobody in this world can know him better than yug...

"thanks yug.."

"hey chill little girl... now you have came back everything will be fine..."

I looked at his face so that I could read wat he meant by that but no... he was tensed but not showing it... as I said earlier he has masters in hiding his feelings...

Just I was trying to figure out what was going on inhis mind... a Volkswagen at its full speed came and stop near us...

As its door went open I went all freezed...

"k... tara everything is fine he cannot hurt.. you be calm..." I said to my self...

Standing before me was the last person in the world whom I wanted to see right getting back to india..

"hi everyone... omg tara you look as beautiful as ever.."saying this he advanced towards me and as always I backed off...

Even his presence makes me feel disgusted... so here he stood .. tall dark handsome.. as any other girl would describe him.. and he takes advantage of his too good looks to get any girl in his atmosphere to his bed...

But so sad his ever so charm have never got me affected,,,

RUDRAPRATAP SHEKHWAT... ... baba's elder brother VIJAY SINGH SHEKHWAT'S only child...

One look at him and you will describe him as RICH SPOILT BRAT' and indeed he was...

He was pampered by not only his father but also by baba ... All his bad habits and wrong doings wer white washed by mritunjay.. I so hated him for this..

From childhooh till now he competed with mritunjay for everything.. say from a new toy car to a pencil.. from getting admission to their fav college to getting the hottest chick in the campus from getting love of elders to my hatred...

Rudra always won the fight not bcoz he deserved bcoz mritunjay never fought.. he let go every single thing on which rudra used to lay his hands...

But at one thing rudra has always failed and will in the future and that is ME..

He has a liking for things he cannot get easily and he knew I was a tough nut to crack.. or I would say a bad nut which he can never crack...

He again advanced towards me but this time yug stood between him and me as aa hard rock protecting me...

"rudra why you took so much pain to come here... We were coming home after receiving them.."

"I know yug... stop being Wikipedia for me... actually adi got sturck in some work so he asked me to extend my help.."

Ooo god how I wanted to kill adi...

"ooo so he is busy... no problem rudra .. bab and maa r here we will go with them..." Nandu said to ease the situation ..

Finally I got some guts to open my mouth..." Yug.. baba and maa r waiting...pls lets go..."

Rudra looked at me with the hunger .. a hunter has for his hunt... but down the line now I m immune to that...

Yug.. me .. and nandu left him to join baba and maa who were waiting for us at the end of the parking...

"finalyy so I can guess that aadi is not coming.." baba said as adi was not with us..

"but baba adi is getting responsible.. he send the driver to pick us up.." yug said with a smirk...

Honestly I wanted to laugh out loud for his remark but I had to control and I could see even nandu did...

"seriously wow.. now I can be a little eased out on him.. but where is the driver then...?"

"ooo actually we send him home ... we wanted to come home with you na and we all would go together then there is no needof extra car..." nandu said to save yug's lie and also to save him from another lie..

They are so made for each other... I looked at both of them.. both wer talking with each other through their eyes and ofcourse I wa s not going to disturb them and hence I moved forward to sit inside the car..

Nandu sat behind with maa and me in front as baba took to drive...

" k.. baba.. I have some work I will be directly meeting you at home.." yug said taking out his bike key from his pocket..

"what work... is it so important.." I said with a pout...

"yes princess or else I would never leave the chance to be with you and play chess..."

Remembering chess I got all excited ..." so you will try to come as soon as possible"

"promise..."

Yug turned to the other side of the parking to get his bike and baba get the car towards home..

Mumbai city has changed so much in this five years... new roads .. malls.. theaters... Buildings...

Silently sitting in the car I was letting the air of my hometown to welcome me... nandu and maa were busy with there business plans... Now nandu was a successful boutique and maa wanted everything to be shifted here... Even baba has offerd to help...

You might be thinking what do I do... well I finally got my law degree... and became a lier... opppsss I meant lawyer... one to two cases as a intern was all I had... coming back to india was my main focus and now I m will be trying to assist some bigger fish... lets see what life has in store for me...

Has baba drove to our parking familiar smell of flowers reached my olfactory area...

I got down quickly to see that the area of the garden was now more fuller with many different types of plants... Garden... a place of my rejoice.. a place of my meditation...

"everything is same as you left them tara..." baba said assuring me...

"yes it is" I said with a bright smile...

Just as we moved forward.. joseph came to help with the luggage.."

Joseph .. the most faithful servant and has became more of a family member...

" my god joseph you got so handsome in these years..." nandu said teasing him...

"obviously afterall he his getting married.." baba gave the good news..

"k.. that's why he his blushing so much huhh..."

As joseph kept his head low and went ashamed.. we both sisters kept on teasing him...

" now enough we should go inside, you both can tease him afterwards.."

Finally I was stepping in to my home...

I was ... I think in 3^rd std when we came here to live... dad and baba were business partners and childhood friends.. I used to visit this place as a child to play with the kids of this house... Slowly we all became good friends as dad and baba were...

One day baba came and asked maa to shift here.. maa was confused of why he did that.. the news was horrifying for maa and nandu.. but for me it had no effect has I was unable to know the depth of the situation...

And the next thing I can remember is me.. nandu and maa staying here... Maa always used to say never ever in your life disobey baba.. as he has given us a second life.. and baba used to say that he has done nothing for us as all financial support was left behind by dad to look after us..

God only knows who was right but I never tried to go into any details coz unlike nandu I never felt I was missing dad.. baba fully took care of that...

choti maa was standing near the door to welcome us...

Choti maa aka NIRMALA SHEKHWAT... the pillar of strength of this house as maa always describes her... a perfect role model for a best wife ,best mom and best home maker.. the most simple woman I have ever known...

"wait.." choti maa said or almost screamed... Baba smiled on our reactions...

" five years out of country and you forgot our culture.." oopss I forgot to mention she is super strict too...

Choti maa got the aarti's thali and did the rituals as we came home after long time and ofcourse as winners in our own fields...

After that choti maa huged us both to say how much she missed us...

"choti maa we too missed you a lot.." nandu said.. but I unable to speak anything...

Well that is the problem with me from childhood.. when ever I get emo I mouth gets sealed away and I remain unable to speak anything... but thank god all my near and dear ones knows about this and really do not mind with this...

"welcome back" the voice echoed the living area.. and there stood vijay singh shekhwat with accusing eyes...

I tried not to look at him... He his elder then me and hence I tried my best not to feel disgusted by his presence..

But to tell the truth he never liked us nor did i...
