Jay Shri Krishna

SB tells Krishna, you will surely find some way to get rid of Sudama's poverty. Krishna says he forgot about that in hosting Sudama. SB asks, is Sudama's poverty due to eating your chana? krishan replies no it was done innocently as a child, his poverty is due to his past birth's deeds, which has got over, now he will enjoy fruits of his good deeds.

Narad drops Sudama near his village, tells him he want's to go the other way. Sudama thanks him, Narad looks up to Krishna, signaling his work is done.

At night Sudama reaches near his house, sees, flowers spread, making a way upto a temple, he thinks this was not there before, he goes to the temple, joins hands to Krishna's idol. Suddenly he hears someone calling him swami, he turns to see a women dressed in red saree & jewellery. He doesn't look at her, tells her, you are mistaken, I am not your swami. She says out of respect you are not looking at me, but I am your Susheela. He still doesn't look at her, She says, you are not recognizing me, but you will recognize your children. She calls them. KSJ are witnessing this happily. Children calls out to Sudama, he recognizes them, feels happy meeting them & is surprised to see them in good clothes.(they all are looking very good) The eldest son tells him, now we have got everything. He looks at Susheela, is shocked to see her like this. Susheela, goes near the Krishan idol, worships the God & says, the one whose name you are always taking has given all this. Lord Krishna has given all this. Sudama remembers his convo with Krishna, when he told him that his wife & children are happy. At that time Krisnha had said, let your wife & children's life be full of riches. He understands the meaning of those words now.

Susheela further tells him, Maa Lakshmi gave her darshan & blessed her to remain young forever. She recollects the incident, in their hut, she was thinking about, when their problems will end, suddenly she is surprised to see a bright figure standing in front of her, he introduces himself as Dev-shilpi Vishwakarma, she greets him politely, he says Lord Krishna has told him to make a palace like his for his friend Sudama. Susheela says, he is God, we are poor Brahmins, who is always worried about 3 times meal. Vishwakarma smiles, says allow me to do my work. Her children are also watching this & so is KSJ happily.

She then tells Sudama to come to ther house. Sun has already risen in the sky when they reach the place, same as Krishna's palace in Dwaraka. Inside his new house, which is same as the one in Krishna's palace. His children says food is ready, all 4 of them run to the place where food was kept, they start eating kheer . Sudama remembers the similar incident, at Dwaraka. He goes near the Krishna idol, joins hand, says people think that I am gyani, but I am agyani, I was not able to recognize God.

Fantastic episode!!!

When Satyabhama asked Krishna whether Sudama's poverty was due to what he did as a kid, it was just too funny - only this Satyabhama asks such questions 🤣 On the answer, is it known who/what Sudama was exactly in his previous births for which he had to suffer so? Also, one thing that struck me - Krishna told Satyabhama that just as the kaal chakra implies that periods of misery would be followed by periods of happiness, the reverse is also true - that periods of happiness would be followed by periods of misery. That may well be true, except that I didn't get the point of mentioning that in this context. From what I know, Sudama's ending was happy that he was prosperous for the rest of his life after this blessing from Rukmini, and that after that, he never let those riches go to his head, but spent the rest of his life singing praises of Shri Krishna. Is there any account where this period of prosperity is followed by an end to it all?

So according to Susheela, she got Goddess Lakshmi's darshan, but they didn't show her appear. In fact, I was shocked to see a male god there in her place 😲 but relieved to learn that it was Vishwakarma. 😆 Nowadays, Brahma & Vishnu are shown single, while Shiva is shown w/ Parvati. So far, the Parvati actress hasn't had a falling out w/ the Sagars. 😆

So they converted Sudama's current home into a shrine? I thought that when Sudama got home, the same place where he lived was just transformed into a palace, and that's where they went on to live. But here, his wife & kids took him to their new home.

I know this track has been very long, much longer than I thought was needed. Had today been Friday, I'd have decided that it was a good place to end. However, I do hope that we have a bit more of Sudama tomorrow in new garb, followed by some filler material until Monday.

It was a very good episode. After seeing Sudama & his family undergo so much, really felt happy seeing them prosperous & happy. They all have realised the true value of this wealth & Sudama has not only gained monetoryly but has also become spiritually rich, by realising what God has done for him. It was good they mentioned Maa Lakshmi, indicating her presence & her importance in this story. They could have shown a bright glowing Lakshmiji, without showing her face to show her presence.

At least they showed Lakshmi Ma without making Satyabhama or Jambavathi don her garb...I prefer this to that. A bright glow could also have been good, God does not need a solid, human form to appear to devotees.
