Due to Color's wrong ego & policies, some of their shows have lost trps. The PH must have approached Colors first, Vishal was Color's favourite. Imagine, must have been their 2nd choice. Colors would have asked them to really drag different tracks, here atleast pace of the show is good.
i dont think so the pace of the show is good
the Narkasur episodes were super dragging
JAI SHRI KRISHNA was ahuge hit show on Colors channel with the trp's always more than 3 sumtimes it even croseed 6 ...so i really wish that Colors think abt making a show on LORD KRISHNA ...wud love to watch that ...Imagine's new creatives are giving jitters to the viewers ...lolz 😆😆😆😆
Colors when they started were no 1, today they are no 3, becaused of their creative interference in the original story line. They've ruined my faviourite show & most of my forum members have boycotted Colors, since 28th March, including removing color's subscription & that no. is not small. They are probably not making because they can't add extra marrital affair track in Lord Krishna's story😆😆😆. Color's new CEO was previously Imagine's CEO. So I still find Imagine much better for this show, am never watched any other shows of Imagine, but for this show they are better. JSK was dragged by them. If this show was aired on Colors, I would have never watched it😊

JSK even dragged maintained a great TRP
i only know abt the very talented Ashwini yardey the CEO of colors ,has she left colors channel
by the way i am really enjoying VEER SHIVAJI and PARICHAY on colors ...i find colors 100 times better channel than Imagine.
all i wish that the Imagine new creatives and makers of Dwarikadhish dont add their own cooked up stories .to this show ...i am watching the show only becaz it is the show of LORD KRISHNA but feel sad at the same time the way its been treated ...by the channel creatives and sagar pictures ...

Very talented Ashwini Yardy, is programming head of Colors, also responsible for ruining some good shows. Vishal used to be her favourite, why she didn't favour DBSK for Colors? Their previous CEO Rajesh Kamat was not happy with the way the shows were handled. Raj Nayak is their current CEO. Shivaij & Parichay has TVR of 1.7 & 1.57, which is not high for colors. All Mytho & historic shows have their own audience, Parichay is EK show. All her shows are good initially, then she ruins them. DBSK at 8.00 time slot competes with IPKKND on Star plus, BV on Colors, Zee etc. Highest TVR on Imagine is 1.17. From Channel's merit pov, DBSK's TVR is ok. One good thing about Sony & Imagine is they atleast close down their shows, when story ends.

parichay and veer shivaji are new shows ..veer shivaji is just 2 weeks old and parichay is 1 month ,considering that the trp's of parichay and veer shivaji are 100 times better than the trp's of Imagine channel shows ...the new creative head of imagine is saurabh Tiwari, viewers of Imagine not so happy wid him..it seems he is so fond of Rakhi and the swambar shows ...lolz...
anyways sagar pictures i think had not approcahed colors for dwarikadhish or may be Imagine paid them more for Dwarikadhish ,who knows the reason ...all i want is that the channel creatives shd not play with the authentic story of Bhagvad Puran and Dwarikadhish ratings cud be more high if they thoroughly follow Bhagvad Puran...
JAI SHRI KRISHNA was the only show i watched on Colors channel earlier ...rest i hv no idea abt the other shows on it ...now i hv started watching Parichay and Veer Shivaji on colors.

we all JAI SHRI KRISHNA fans waited like crazy for the 2nd part of the show ,we were disappointed wen we came to know that the second part of JAI SHRI KRISHNA wud come on Imagine ,we all are watching the show as its the show of LORD KRISHNA ..feel disappointed when the channel creatives dont listen to us ...

JSK never planned to show beyond Kans Vadh, so we can't really blame it on Colors or Sagar Pictures that it ended abruptly during the Uddhav track.

Also, though it maintained good TRPs, even JSK added a lot of fiction in its story. Keshni was a fictional character, and sooo many of the rakshasas Bal Krishna fought were fictional. They were brought into the show just to show Dhriti longer since fans were crazy about her. Not to mention that Vasudev's character was as butchered as Devaki's was in DBSK. Like Lola said in another thread, Sagar Pictures seems to have it against Vasudev and Devaki.

I'd like to see a Krishna serial without any fiction...of course, some fiction to show sweet family scenes is perfectly alright, but I hate it when creatives twist the storyline or ruin the characters. I've lost faith with Sagar Pictures that they'll ever show a Krishna serial properly...TRPs aren't the only thing, because though JSK maintained good TRPs, it did not satisfy me in terms of storyline or characterization. I feel that with the characterization of Krishna, DBSK did better, especially with the Sudama track. It was really nice and quite refreshing after the terrible Narakasur track.👏 When we take new mytho Krishnas into consideration, I feel Vishal was a great choice and his characterization for the most part was not bad so far. After him, JSK's Meghan was good also. As much as I love Dhriti, the Bal Krishna episodes of JSK were way too dragged and sometimes a bit boring.

I'm also curious about the next track...since Rukmini is probably not going to make a come back, I'd like DBSK to take its focus out of Krishna's family life and show some of his political victories. People will continue to complain if Rukmini is not shown, but once the focus is given to Krishna's relationship with the Pandavas, it won't matter that she's not in the show.

Maybe they'll show Draupadi's swayamvar next? I hope the creatives choose a really good actress for her role!

@ Janaki ...yup it seems the makers and the channel creatives love addin their own cooked up stories ...they replaced Rukmini devi in the tulsi leaf story of weiging Lord Krishna and in this sudama story too ...yup this sudama track is refreshing after those disaster narkasur track...
in JSK too sagars showed their cooked up bloopers but that show worked really well becaz of its much better production unit ,all the actors were great be it nand ,yashoda ,Dhriti as Baby Krishna ,meghan as teenage Krishna ,the locales of Gokul,Vrindavan looked really realistic ...in Dwarikadhish the backgrounds are always dark...thank God in Sudama-Krishna episodes we gwt to see such beautiful greenary ..and rives ,hills every thing ...
here i was not impressed with the actress who was playing Rukmini ...i really wish she is replaced by sum other grave actress ..the lady playing satyabhama doesnt knows acting ...till now only liked the acting of Vishal ...and now the actor who is playing sudama is also doing a fine job ...i really loved Vishal in the Krishna and Sudama episodes ..
it will be great if we get to see the Mahabharat track after the sudama track...we will get a total different side of Lord Krishna ...and it will give a total new start to this show...once we get to see the Mahabharat track ..we al will def not miss Rukminidevi ...

the TRP'S OF JSK rocked on colors ...it was the answer to those ppl who think that mytho shows cannot gain Trp's in todays era of saasbahu and romantic ,hip-hop shows ...JSK generated a whole new wave of Krishna bhakti...i wish the same with Dwarikadhish ...wish its trp's improve ...and that will improve if they show the authentic story and plus they need to work hard on the dark backgrounds ...of the show ...till now i hv loved the Krishna and Sudama episode as the emotional content in this story was just fabulous and looking forward to the more emotional scenes of Lord Krishna and Sudama.

they showed that Krishna and Balram were preparing for the war with Jarasandh and they even showed the battlefield but ended the show without showing it and in such abrupt ways ...

I meant that when JSK first began, it was planned to show only up till Kans Vadh, but then the audience demanded them to show more because people felt it was unfair for Meghan to have been in the show so less in comparison to Dhriti (which is true), he worked equally hard. So then they began showing beyond Kans Vadh when Colors forced them to stop during the Uddhav track.

Had the Bal Krishna stories not been dragged just because Dhriti was popular, both she and Meghan would have been in the show an equal amount of time (Meghan more actually, since the Bal Krishna phase is not supposed to be that long) and Sagar Pictures may have been able to finish showing Jarasandh before ending the show.

The thing with Sagar Pictures is that they don't plan their shows well beforehand...sometimes they drag tracks and at other times they show them too fast. If they plan meticulously and not give in to every demand by the audience, JSK could have ended very nicely with the defeat of Jarasandh, and then DBSK could have begun right afterwards.

When it comes to mythos, I prefer Sagar Arts because not only their planning, the clothing and sets they use also look more apt for mythos...sometimes, Sagar Pictures sets look a bit dreary and depressing. For Kans's Rajmahal in JSK, that's fine because it symbolizes that he's evil, but showing the Rajmahal at Dwaraka like that also doesn't really catch the interest of viewers. Mytho shows should be bright and colorful, so that even those who are not very religious feel compelled to watch it for the cheer and magic.😊
