frankly i dnt like her as rukmini ...no offence guyz , i hv seen her before in many shows n no doubt she acts really well but for rukmimi , thy shud hv taken a face , which atleast looks like a divine spirit

My original choice for Rukmini was Sneha Wagh. I had seen Priya in BAVD, and she was okay. In the trailers, she didn't look so good, but last night, she was okay. Seemed rather tall for a Rukmini, but that's purely subjective.

Well, we still have slots open for Satyabhama, Jambavati, Subhadra, Draupadi, and depending on what they show, Mayavati (wife of Pradhyumna), Lakshmanaa (wife of Samba), and of course, Krishna's other 5 principle wives. Let's see who they show!

I agree. Acting wise Priya would be ok but she doesnt look divine. I think maybe a "new"face would be good too.

You won't see much of a love story here, b'cos unlike Rama & Sita, Krishna didn't spend the bulk of his time w/ Rukmini. She does have major roles in Pradhyumna's story, since she gave birth to him and he got almost immediately kidnapped, and so given this serials love for dramatizing the emotional parts, I can see her role there being stretched, dragged and milked for all it's worth. It will have a happy ending once Pradhyumna & Mayavati return to Rukmini.

No doubt that this won't be like Ramayan showing Rama and Sita. I was just wondering then why is Krishna named Radhakrishna and not RukminiKrishna or SatyabhamaKrishna.

No, I am not just referring to all the flute and dance shows of Krishna, radha and other gopikas in vrindavan alone. There should surely be something more than this? Despite having so many women in his life who spent a major part of their lives with him, why is he called Radha Krishna?

My 11 year old daughter was asking me this question as one of my cousin is named Radha Krishna.😊

Any thoughts?
