Suniye is ok - provided she addresses him respectfully in the first place. Like "Aryaputra...suniye..."

I feel equally odd that Krishna should address her as "aap..." even when they are alone . She is not older than him. Somehow I feel it brings about a vague formality b/w them.

By her, you mean Revathy, or Rukmini? If the former, Revathy is his bhabishri, and he should use aap. The ages are defined relationship wise - even if Revathy is chronologically younger than him, she is older by being his Dau's wife. Like Sita was likely younger to Lakshman, but since she was his bhabi, he sat @ her feet.
Reminds me - when Krishna took Balarama's leave, he didn't even bow to him or touch his feet, as the real Krishna normally did. Normally, he'd be expected to do that for both Balarama & Revathy.
If you're talking Rukmini, guess it's a matter of personal choice.

I meant Rukmini only. Obviously, he cant refer to his Bhabhi as "tum"

Okay. Reason I asked was that suniye was used by Revathy, not Rukmini. She didn't address Balarama as Aryaputra, Arya, Nath or any of the other titles, just started w/o addressing him.
Rukmini never used suniye, she just used different names of Krishna. So far, she's used Giridhar, Murlidhar, Kanha, and while referring to him in third person, Kanha and Krishna-ji 🤣 Look forward to her addressing him as Keshav, Janardhan, Yogeshwar, Dwarkadheesh, et al until she has addressed him by each name of his at least once 😆

Ok let her start "Om Vishwam Vishnu Vashatkaro..." till she has exhausted all the 1000 names... will save Bhishma Pitamah a world of labour...

no Rukmini again. so if Priya has really left the show over something , and suppose Sagars decide to bring in a new actress, who is the better choice?

how about the actress playing Gauri in ' dhoondh legi manzil humain' on star one?
whom will u prefer?

My personal choice from day 1 would have been Sneha Wagh for this role. She conveys the soft gentle image that Rukmini is supposed to have, and would also show the emotions of losing her baby really well when Pradhyumna is kidnapped. But Pradhyumna is the only part really left for Rukmini.
