One point - when Krishna met Prasenjit, he initially asked him to give the gem to him so that he could return it to Satrajit. The second time, after Prasenjit rebuffed him, he asked Prasenjit to hand it over and save his own family from destruction.
The purpose of the disclaimer ought to be that they're using different sources, and one of the sources used may contradict what's written elsewhere. Therefore, the disclaimer simply implies that what's shown in the serial doesn't necessarily trump what might be in a given source.
Disclaimer doesn't mean that you make up anything you feel like. 🤢
Agree w/ everything else you wrote! 👍🏼
Nice to see people back 😊

Oh! Was it the actual scene? Then I must have missed that dialogue 😳. Actually these days I am missing some of the scenes as I am having guests at home.

Yes, agree about the 'Disclaimer' thing, the creatives need to wake up ...

LOL! Yes, me too happy to be here after 3-4 days. 😊

Debipriya,

For them giving disclaimer is a licence to show anything & get away from responsibalities. Hope there is something like Krishna allowing Shishupal to abuse him for 99 times & at 100th insult, his discus does the talking, there is some authority here to stop maximum mistakes.😃

Btw here's a little theory of mine... It's odd that they showing the six sons returning story so early in the epic. I think the reason they did this was so that they could show all the scenes depicting Devki and then get rid of her from the series... So they won't have to pay her !!! The producers are paid by the channel afterall and knowing the kanjoos Imagine ... They probably gave Sagars a low budget . Explains why so many vitals characters havnt made an appearance yet... Cost cutting exercise ! Mark my word... I really think after this episode we'll see very little or none of Vasudev/ Devaki... Of course according to Sagar Puran, they'll be embarking on a long trip... Probably after Devaki gets depressed for Krishna not having granted her wish completely.

Yeah This seems to be too obvious--cost cutting. Since the sets are in a secluded part of Baroda, other than a few main actors, guess all other actors are informed and called before hand. So, they want to complete all scenes with that particular actor and then pay him/her😉 Thus, the chronology is not followed.

From the structure of plot/narrative, the mother son duo (that was really boring as the track was so draaaging ) where the son is "cured" by krishna was the prelude and devki's track that showed "mamata". Nonetheless, both these tracks never met.

Then, Ramya's incident is prelude to Syamantak Mani. But both the sub-plot (Ramya's incident) and the main plot (krishna and syamantak mani) meet here. Though, again the mother and son entering the kings court and the mother defending Krishna was NOT at all appealing even from the narrative point of view.😡

Gradually, the narrative/plot the story should actually start mixing up the sub-plot and main plot instead of alternating them and making them predictable. 😉 The only way to make this story unpredictable is to play with the various "strands" in the story. Of course, this does not mean that they should play with the facts.😊

As of now, what happens to praja is happening to raja and he as an avatar too krishna is intricately bound to maya. He has to follow the simple dictates of Karma.

As "vrish" had pointed out, until krishna finds out the real culprit as to who stole the gold from the temple, this track would look incomplete.

They did not show krishna hunting for the culprit in Ramya's case as the syamantak mani incident will not have a reason from the karmic angle, then.

I so agree with you ...😉

These scriptwriters really lack the art of weaving an interesting complex story with many threads that converge. They always treat the audience as short-attentioned fools that can only follow one thread at a time. Actually not only DBSK suffers this fate but most mythologicals, to me, seem very linear in their narratives. (I don't know about Indian serials in general since I only really bother seeing mythologicals - I lack the perseverance to continue watching social serials beyond 1 or 2 episodes!... also I'm videshi and have to preserve my Internet bandwidth😆 so I don't waste it downloading rubbish)

About weaving together threads ...
For e.g while showing Devaki's kiddie drama they should have woven in scenes of the temple jewelry being stolen, and accusations against Raman.

Perhaps introduce us to the Pandavas and their drama of the Lakshagrih interwoven with the drama of the Syamantak Mani (since immediately after marrying Satyabhama, Krishna goes to Hastinapur to mourn the Pandavas.

While Rukmini haran episodes was running, they could've had a few domestic scenes at the Kritvarma residence with Ms K heavily pregnant and gushing about looking forward to being a mum.

Having this type of suspense to wonder how the stories are related would make mythos really interesting and a predictable story unpredictable - and may attract a wide audience... If only🤔

I agree sooo completely w/ Shan & aloochak
The scriptwriters have a ready-made story to start w/ (unlike soap writers). So their focus should be on parallelizing different threads in a story & making them run together. In ASR, they did a good job of collecting different stories from different Ramayans - Shurpanakha's son Shambri from Ananda Ramayan, Rama's Durga Puja from Krittivas, maaya Sita's beheading by Meghnad from Valmiki, etc. Here, as Shan suggested, they could have run in parallel the Pandavas being sent to Varnavarta, Sishupala conducting random raids on Dwarka (he does have to start exhausting those 100 pardons), Devaki getting back her sons, and in parallel, shown some unknown man planting the temple gold in Raman's house. That might have lent some sense of anticipation to it.
Since it would have taken some weeks to get from Dwarka to Hastinapur, Krishna & Balarama could have been shown as going to meet the Pandavas, but arriving only to find out that the Pandavas had gone to Varnavarta, and gotten burned there. But the problem here - in the original story, Ugrasena was the king of Dwarka, and he had ministers like Vasudev, Satyaka, Udhav and others to help him manage the country, so Balarama could accompany Krishna anywhere. But here, since Balarama is the king of Dwaraka, I wonder how they'll justify him leaving w/ Krishna? And even if he doesn't, the original story has it that after Krishna killed Satadhandva and let Akrura keep the Syamantaka gem, Balarama went to teach Duryodhan mace fighting, while Krishna went after a while to Draupadi's swayamvara (where Balarama might have been as well since Duryodhan was). So would they just not show Balarama w/ Duryodhan, or would they vilify Balarama this time? Somewhere or the other, Duryodhan has to be woven in, or else, the pretext for Krishna to ask Arjun to abduct Subhadra would be lost. Had Duryodhan not asked for Subhadra's hand, Krishna might have been happy to let her have a swayamvara whenever they found fit.
Anyway, after Draupadi's marriage, they can show Arjun in Dwarka a lot (even b4 his exile), as he helped Krishna win Mitravindya and another princess, and found another woman who wanted to marry Krishna. They can even have the stories of Arjun & Hanuman's challenge.

@ Parina, Yes, it is something like that. After 28 days of war Jambvant realised that this person in front of him is undoubtedly his Lord, as it is only his Lord who is more powerful than him, so the 'Realisation' took place in him.

It made him ashamed that he fought with his own Lord, he wanted to offer something to Krishna/ Ram. So he decided to give his loving daughter to his Lord, which Krishna accepted to make him happy (so natural of the Lord to care for the feelings of his devotees 😍).

Will write more about it in WU Thread 😊.
