Thanks a lot for the clarification Vrish & Lakhmin...😊

I have another question😳

1. Is Radha also the avatar of Goddess Laxmi? Or is only Rukmini the avatar of Goddess Laxmi & what about the other wives of Krishna? I forgot which site but long time back I saw that they had mentioned that Radha is the avatar of another Goddess not Laxmi...how true is this?😕

2. Btw in JSK, in one episode Radha-Krishna (during childhood) had mentioned that they have to live separately due the curse of Sita-Ram (a bit confused whether Sita-Ram were cursed or did they curse), does anybody know which curse Radha-Krishna were talking about. I didn't see them clarifying more on this track. It took place as a normal conversation. Also I didn't see any curse being given by or given to Sita-Ram during Ramayan or did I miss it. Guyz plz answer this. I'm curious to know what curse was being talked about or did Radha-Krishna actually were cursed by anybody?😕

Some puranas, such as Brahm-Vaivarta Purana, says that Lord Krishna is enternally present in Goloka together with His consort Goddess Radha. In that sense, Radha is not an incarnation of Lakshmi. On the contrary, that purana calls Radha above Lakshmi.

Vik
Some more discussions about Radha's relationship w/ Krishna can be found here
I've always known only Rukmini to be the avatar of Lakshmi, not anyone else.

Thanks for the link Vrish...
the more I read it the more I got confused regarding the relation of Radha-Krishna, her marital status & all😕 so many sources state different things😕

btw in JSK, didn't they show Brahma arranging the marriage for Radha & Krishna...surely I'll go crazy now with so many different opinions. Does anyone know which is the most reliable source to follow...or is there a debate even on the latter

Even I always knew Rukmini as the avatar of Lakshmi not Radha, but in JSK they emphasized on the fact of being Radha the avatar of Lakshmi so much that I got confused completely

Just check this link. It is all about the last meeting of Krishna and Radha. I don't know how far it is reliable. But it is interesting.

Nice discussion going on here I must say. The relation between radha krishna has intrigued many! Had Krishna been married to radha do you think he would have left her behind !? I dont think they were married. It really becomes very confusing when we have so many conflicting versions about our main deities

I have a question, and this is regarding the conditions of Jarasandha's death.
Given that Jarasandh was put together along his symmetric dividing line by a Rakshashi named Jara, it explains why his death too could only be attained by someone tearing him apart along that and throwing his halves in opposite directions, so that unlike Jara, they couldn't come together.
However, my question is why were both Krishna & Balarama unable to do it, and why did Bhima need to be the one to do it? I mean, Balaram too could have defeated Jarasandh in a duel the way he did Mushtika, and followed the same procedure. Also, Krishna killed all his other enemies - Kamsa, Shishupala, Dantavatra, Shalva, Purandara Vasudeva, Narakasura... Was there a divine reason why Jarasandha had to be killed by Bhima alone, and not by one of the Yadavas?
