The family is puzzled when Periya akka performs Sandhya's baby shower rituals. Saroja replaces the veil on Sandhya's head with a police cap, and gives her a police uniform and cane. She reveals to Periya akka and her friends that Sandhya aims to become a police officer, and salutes Sandhya. She accuses her of not having an intimate relationship with Surya in order to pursue her dream. Periya akka reminds Saroja that she lost the challenge. Saroja dances to celebrate Sandhya's dream.

Sandhya decides to sacrifice her dream for the sake of the family. She asks Surya to break his promise of fulfilling her father's dream. She wishes to regain Saroja's trust and affection. Saroja denies her the opportunity. She warns Sandhya that she will put an end to her studies when she commits the fourth mistake and loses the challenge. Meenakshi wears a police uniform and scares Vikram. Savitha complains when Santosh breaks the house rules by serving food to Sandhya first.

Saroja asks Sandhya to wear cotton sarees to college. She do aarathi for Sandhya and asks Surya to drop her to the college. Surya's father tells Surya that it will take time to mend his relationship with Saroja. He advises Sandhya to study well. The rest of the family contemplates Saroja's actions. Malathi informs Sandhya that the classes have been cancelled due to the disturbance caused by the crowd worshipping the miracle god idol in the campus. Saroja stitches clothes for Surya's baby.

Surya's father asks Saroja to forgive Surya and Sandhya, but in vain. The priests refuse to let the workers from a telephone company to dig the sacred ground on which the miracle god idol was unearthed. However, Swami grants them permission to dig the ground and check the telephone lines to ensure that the public is unaffected. Sandhya wakes up early in the morning to do the household chores. Meenakshi is questioned by a policeman regarding Vedha rani's case. Sandhya breaks a flower pot.

Meenakshi breaks a flower pot and blames it on Sandhya. She tells Saroja that Sandhya committed her first mistake by breaking the tulasi plant. Kasthuri finds a gold ring in the broken pot and gives it to Saroja. She tells Sanroja that it cannot be considered as a mistake because she got her lost ring back because of Sandhya. Surya hangs Swami's photo in the house. Sandhya finds a rudraksha bead in his shirt pocket. She deduces that the rudraksha belongs to Swami.

Sandhya suspects that the swami had buried the idol in the college campus. Saroja takes Meenakshi and Sandhya to the temple for Puja. She asks Sandhya to serve food to the brahmins and Meenakshi to guard their footwear. Sandhya serves food to hungry orphan kids instead of the brahmins. Saroja tells Sandhya that she committed a big mistake by disobeying her. She uses this mistake as an example to teach Sandhya about the kind of errors that will make her lose the challenge.

Saroja takes Sandhya and Meenakshi to Surya's sweet shop to eat jalebi. She informs Surya about Sandhya's first mistake. Sandhya prepares jalebi for Surya to cheer him up. Meenakshi sees Vedha rani's assistant on the street and confronts her. The assistant manages to fool her. Saroja buys 4 mud pots and asks Sandhya to stack it one on top of another. She breaks a pot and tells Sandhya that for each mistake she will break one of the 3 remaining pots which symbolises the loss of her dreams.

Saroja reminds Sandhya that if the earthen pots break, she would have to leave her dream of becoming an officer and would have to lead a normal life thereafter. Sandhya requests her not to estrange the relationship after the fate of the competition. While the Swamiji informs the students about his plan to demolish the college for construction of a Shiva temple, Sandhya argues with him. Meenakshi fails to instigate Saroja against Sandhya. Meanwhile, Saroja is confident of Sandhya's defeat.

Sandhya is saddened by the news of demolition of the night college. Meenakshi rejoices believing that Saroja will prevent Sandhya from becoming a police officer. She goes to Vedha rani's clinic at night to steal medicines. Mohan and Preethi meet in secret behind the clinic. Preethi asks Mohan to talk to his family about their wedding. Meenakshi overhears their conversation. She recognises Preethi who had posed as an income tax officer to scare Saroja. Mohan sees the medicines in her hand.

Sandhya spends a sleepless night after hearing about the news of demolition of her college. Surya plays a game to cheer her up. Meenakshi ridicules Sandhya and Surya on learning that the night college has been closed. Saroja asks Surya to arrange for Sandhya's admission in a day college. Meenakshi hides Vedha rani's medicines in a box. Surya receives a call from Brandon. Mohan saves Preethi's photos in his laptop. Sandhya borrows his laptop for the family to video chat with Brandon.

Brandon informs the family that he has signed a contract to open his food chain in the new shopping mall. Sandhya is shocked to learn that the mall is going to be built on the night college property, instead of the Shiva temple. Periya akka informs everyone that Swami is visiting their Street to collect donation for the temple. Surya gives money to Saroja for donation. Surya's father writes down the names of the people donating money and collects their photos.

Meenakshi goes with Mohan to the market to buy puja items. Sandhya falls off the stool while hanging garlands on the front door, however Surya saves her. Chotu and his friends laugh at them. Surya and Sandhya play with a puppy. The people in Street welcome Swamiji. Swamiji performs a miracle with a coconut. He visits the Surya's house when the coconut breaks in Saroja's hand. Chotu asks Swamiji as to how he had unearthed the Shivan idol without digging it.

Sandhya gets suspicious when Swamiji utters the same phrase which Brandon had claimed that one of the contractors of the shopping mall, Govind Lal, had often repeated. She confirms her suspicion when Swamiji responds to the name, Govind. She shares her suspicion with Surya and tells him that they have to find the truth. She contacts Brandon for help. Surya's father gives the donation money to Swamiji for the Shiv temple. Swamiji chooses Saroja to erect the first stone in the foundation of the temple.

Sandhya asks Surya to stall Swamiji until Brandon invites Govind to video chat with him. Swamiji preaches to the people gathered in the house while Surya packs sweets for him from his shop. Brandon calls Sandhya and informs her that Govind has agreed to come on video chat. Soon after, Swami announces that it is time for his meditation. Surya takes him to Saroja's bedroom for meditation. Sandhya hears Swami's chant behind the closed door and tries to spy on him through a broken window.

Surya and Sandhya spy on Swamiji and find out that he is planning to build a mall on the college property instead of Shiv temple. Swamiji performs a puja and asks Saroja to keep the first stone in the foundation. Sandhya takes a stay order from court and goes to the college with police to stop Swamiji. She confronts Swamiji with his real identity but the followers do not believe her. Saroja begs forgiveness from Swami on Sandhya's behalf. Swamiji threatens Sandhya to withdraw the stay order.

Meenakshi gives Periya akka's photo to the police to print in the newspaper as a victim of Vedha rani's scam. The neighbours tease Periya akka on reading the newspaper. Periya akka asks Sandhya to find the culprit who misused her photo. Swamiji visits the house and curses the family when Sandhya refuses to withdraw the stay order. Meenakshi falls sick. The doctor asks for her medical report. Surya asks Mohan to use his ATM card to buy medicines. Saroja forbids Sandhya to nurse Meenakshi.

Sandhya asks Meenakshi for her medical report, but Meenakshi lies about it. Mohan has an accident while returning home with Meenakshi's medicines. He informs the family that someone has stolen Rs.70 thousand from Surya's account. Sandhya calls the bank to find the identity of the culprit. The family believes that all the misfortunes are caused due to Swami's curse. Sandhya finds Vedha rani's medicines in a powder box and becomes suspicious. Mohan advises Meenakshi to tell the truth to the doctor.

Vikram is depressed to see Meenakshi sick. Saroja urges Sandhya to withdraw the stay order. She threatens to throw Sandhya out of the house if Meenakshi's condition worsens. Sandhya goes to the police station and asks for information on Vedha rani's case. She learns that Meenakshi had paid Vedhrani Rs. 70 thousand for the medicines. She informs the doctor that Meenakshi became sick after taking Vedha rani's medicines. The doctor treats Meenakshi. Saroja does pujai for her recovery.

Sandhiya goes to meet the police to take the information regarding the medicines. Sandhiya gives the report to the doctor who is shocked to know that Meenakshi has taken the wrong medicine. The doctor tells Saroja that Meenakshi had fallen ill due to Vedha rani's medicines. She credits Sandhya for finding the truth on time to save Meenakshi and her baby.

Swamiji's followers invite the Surya's family to witness the installation of Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh and Nandi idols near the miracle Shiv idol. Saroja asks Meenakshi to feed the cow. Meenakshi blackmails Mohan into cleaning the cow dung. The family attends the puja. Saroja offers a saree for Parvati. Someone offers an expensive jewellery set to the deity. Swamiji plans to humiliate Sandhya. He pretends to forgive her and asks her to offer the saree to the deity.

Swamiji takes everyone to surprise when he chooses Sandhya for decorating Parvati's idol. He asks everyone to chant Gayatri Mantra. Saroja helps Sandhya to decorate the idol. Swamiji calls the devotees for aarathi. A disciple of Swamiji informs him about the theft of Parvati's ornaments. Swamiji calls it as an act of atheist and puts the blame on Saroja. Surya's family is taken aback on hearing the same.

Sandhya defends Saroja's innocence. The people who witness blood tears in the eyes of the Parvati idol, believe Swamiji's lies and condemn Saroja. Meanwhile, one of Swamiji's followers hides the ornaments in the Surya's house. Swamiji gives Surya's family 12 hours time to return the ornaments. He taunts Sandhya and Surya with retaliation for not withdrawing the stay order. He tells them to search for the ornaments in their house and face retribution from the public. Saroja breaks down.
