Story so far...

Story of two different people with two different dreams. Surya, a sweet seller who wishes for a normal family life and Sandhya, an ambitious girl who dreams to become an IPS officer. But DESTINY brought them together.

How they got married...
Sandhya lost her parents in a bomb blast and Surya's wedding stopped as the bride went missing.
Surya's mother (Saroja) challenged to bring a bride in 10 days for Surya and Sandhya's borther's depression to go to USA resulted in Surya-Sandhya marriage

Short WU's for sep 23 to sep 27

September 23

Sandhya is angry with Surya for refusing to participate in the cooking competition. Meenakshi rants about having to do household chores during pregnancy. Surya sends an apology letter to Sandhya. Saroja gets hold of the letter and confronts Sandhya. Sandhya asks her to urge Surya to participate in the competition but she refuses. Sandhya asks for Surya's father's help in convincing Saroja. Saroja's friend receives Sudha's wedding proposal for her son. She asks for Saroja's opinion of Sudha.

September 24

Saroja tells her friend that Sudha will make a good wife and daughter-in-law. Sandhya comes up with a plan to convince Saroja to urge Surya to participate in the cooking competition. She enlists Surya's Father, Kasthuri and Chotu's help in preparing papads. Saroja takes Meenakshi to a gynaecologist. Meenakshi tells the doctor that Saroja gives her a lot of work and keeps her underfed. The doctor believes her lies and instructs Saroja to let Meenakshi rest for the sake of the baby's health.

September 25

Saroja buys fruits for Meenakshi but Vikram hesitates to pay for them. She criticizes him for being stingy even though he is going to be a father. Surya is dejected as Sandhya avoids him. Sandhya prepares papads with the help of Kasthuri, Surya's Father and Chotu. She makes Saroja believe that she had prepared all the papads on her own. She tells Saroja that her parents had taught her never to fear anything and to be self confident to win all things.

September 26

Sandhya and Surya's Father provoke Saroja by ridiculing Surya's fear of participating in the cooking competition. Saroja tells Surya to take part in the competition to prove his cooking skill to Sandhya and Surya's Father. Sandhya confesses to Saroja that she had not prepared all the papads on her own. Saroja criticizes her for lying. Sandhya tells her that she had lied in order to urge her to motivate Surya to take part in world's Top Cook. Saroja tells her to enroll Surya's name in the competition.

September 27

Sandhya successfully enrolls Surya's name for the World's Top Cook competition. Surya is astonished to learn about internet. Surya asks Sandhya to accompany him to Delhi for the competition. Saroja becomes furious at Savitha and Mohan when they make fun of Surya. Saroja refuses to allow Meenakshi to work in their shop as she is pregnant. Saroja gives a box full of eatables to Surya.

Short WUs for Sep 30 to Oct 4 2013

September 30

Saroja is anxious about Surya's participation in the competition. She tells Sandhya to take care of him in Delhi. She warns her family not to tell anyone about Surya's participation in the competition. Surya's family wishes him luck for the competition. Surya and Sandhya arrive at Delhi and are greeted by the World's Top Cook team at the railway station. Surya participates in the first round of the competition in which out of sixty contestants only ten will be chosen for the next round.

October 1

The World's Top Cook contestants are given five hundred rupees to buy groceries and cook for the first round of the competition. A stranger approaches the contestants and asks them for money to take his sick mother to the hospital. Surya gives a part of his money to the man. The judges criticize him for letting his feelings get in the way of the competition. Surya and Sandhya anxiously awaits the results. Meenakshi lies to Saroja about going to the temple to pray for her unborn child.

October 3

Surya wins the first round of the cooking competition. He and Sandhya visit the famous sites in Delhi. Meenakshi craves to have some chaat. Saroja prepares chaat for her at home. Sandhya tells Surya about the time when her father had brought her to Delhi to listen to the Prime Minister's speech. Surya is amazed by her patriotism and vast knowledge of Indian history.

October 4

Surya and Sandhya take photos in a tourist spot. A conman dresses up like a Police Inspector and demands money from them for violating the law. Sandhya finds out that he is a fraud and hands him over to a real policeman. The second round of the cooking competition takes place in Qutab Minar. The cook who earns the maximum money from the tourists for a charity organization wins the round. None of the tourists taste Surya's dish. Kasturi meets a stranger on the street and falls in love with him.
