Guys thanks a lot for understanding...i had study archi drawing and make a quotation...and mom too fell sick.now she is fine...so couldnt update any os...i got some free time yday and wrote an os...posted below...will see you guys next week with new os...

Bet

The dark sky welcomed the moon..the stars started to blossom in the sky...the cool air blows through the trees makin them sing a melodious song...Radhika stood by the window and enjoyed the music made by trees...

Arjun sat in his bean bag with wireless controller and was playing need for speed game from his xbox..

But soon arjun's voice made radhika to come out of her trance...

"No!stupid game..." Yelled arjun as he again lost the game...

"Arjun" said radhika sternly glaring at arjun..

"If its a stupid game..then y do you play it.." asked radhika

"Its not a stupid game...who said its stupid.." asked arjun

"You..you said its a stupid game..." replied radhika..

"No..i dint say" said arjun..

"You just now said that its stupid game,wen you lost..." said radhika

"Ohh...i did..might be a slip of the tongue" arjun said calmly..he then turns around and starts playing..

Radhika looks at him and muttered "slip of the tongue.."she gets a bit annoyed..she sighs and walks up to the bed..

She sits on the bed and looks at arjun..she coughed twice but arjun doesnt look at her..he was completely involved in the game...radhika makes an angry puppy face with her both hands cupping her face..

Arjun had bought xbox 360 two weeks ago and since then he got attached to it..he used to only talk about his xbox..in all his talks with radhika he mentioned about the xbox and its features..which obviously annoyed radhika..

Was radhika jealous of the xbox..it seemed like she was jealous of it..arjun almost spent his free time with the xbox..his xbox was more important to him..this was enough to make any wife angry and radhika was not an exception in this...radhika sometimes thought of throwing it in water,burn it,crush it...but it all happened in her thoughts not in real..she felt like an outsider sometimes...

"What is so special about this game that you are so attached to it" asked radhika out of annoyance..

Arjun hears her voice,pauses the game and turns his head..

"It has great graphics,awesome cars,superb soundtracks,intense thrill ride,tons of challenges,super cool circuits,harder levels...its total enjoyment" said arjun excitedly

"Ohh..how was the dinner today.." asked radhika sweetly.

"Good..." Said arjun

Radhika looks at him..while arjun turns and starts racing again...

Radhika then gets up from the bed and walks up to arjun..she stands beside him with her arms crossed against her chest...

Arjun sees her standing and pauses the game..

"What...?" Asked arjun innocently

"When i asked you what is so special about this game,you said a lot of things like this is superb that is awsome..but when i asked you how the dinner was...u replied in one word "good"..." said radhika with a stare..

Arjun looks here and there,he avoids eye contact...he cleared his throat and said "ahh...hmm..actually.."..it was clear that he was struggling to form a sentence...

"You know since you bought this xbox..you give all importance to it..that is more prior to u what is there in that thing that you so attached to it" asked radhika furiously

Arjun surely dint have any answer to it..so ended up sayin what all boys usually say when they cant explain something

"xbox is a guy thing,you girls wont understand" said arjun..

"What??wen did xbox and race games become a guy thing..." asked radhika raising her eyebrows...

Arjun probably dint have answer to radhika's questions..they both knew that it was nothing more than a childish arguement...

"Then y dont you girls play it.." asked arjun..

"Cos its waste of time..we have lot more important things than this playin this xbox games.." said radhika firmly..

"Ahh...now i understand...you dont play it cos you dont know how to play these games..u only know how to play candy crush and barbie games...right!" said arjun mockingly..

"Ohh..who said you that i can only play candy crush and barbie..i know to play this thing too.." exclaimed radhika...

"OH Really..." asked arjun mockingly

"Well..yes ofcourse i know.." said radhika firmly

" Then prove it...play a game with me..." asked arjun..

"Okay" said radhika without a second thought

Arjun takes and gives the other wireless controller to radhika..he sets the game for two...

But before the game starts...

"What is a game without a bet..." said arjun with a smirk..

Arjun was diggin his own pit for sure..

"Okay...what's the bet..." asked radhika..

"Well...if i win then you have to play this game with me for a month..." said arjun..

"And if you lose..." asked radhika raising her eyebrow..

"I wont lose..." said arjun defiantly

Radhika laughed and said "such overconfidence...its not good..."

"I know i will win...since m playin against you.." said arjun...

"Hmm...okay then..if i win you will have to cook for a month..." said radhika with a sweet smile..

"And no xbox..." radhika added

"Okay...done.." said arjun

Arjun starts the game...he choses the circuit..the car model...

"Game on" said arjun

The game was about to start...both held their controller tightly,focused on the screen...and the game begins

"I bet you lose..." said arjun confidently

Radhika smiled and said " will see that too.."

They both start..radhika easily goes through the hurdles,curves and had overtaken arjun's car...arjun who sees this gets surprised...

After some minutes...

Radhika easily wins the game...arjun looks at her for a while and is shocked and puzzled..

"I won..." said radhika with a smile...

"I lost my focus this time...so you won...i want to go for another round..." said arjun..

"Okay..." said radhika

Arjun sets the game for another round...this time also radhika wins...

"I won...again" exclaimed radhika..

"Wanna go for another round" radhika added

"How...how did you win this...i never saw you play..then how?" Asked arjun curiously

Radhika smiled and said "i think cos i have played this thing before.."

Confused arjun asked "before.."...he further added "with whom..."

"With ankush bhai..." replied radhika

"I have played it with ankush bhai...wenever i was free i used to play racing games with him,actually he is the one who taught me how to play...i never won against him"radhika added

Arjun probably dint know this chapter of her life...

Arjun sits on the bean bag defeated...

"Lets sleep..." said radhika as she walks towards the bed...arjun too gets up and goes to sleep...

NEXT MORNING...

Arjun wakes and finds radhika sleepin peacefully next to him...

"Radhika...my coffee..." askes arjun slightly moving her hand...

Radhika wakes up..smiles and in a sleepy voice says "pati ji...did you forget about last night's bet..."

Arjun remembers the bet and frowns...

"No biwi ji...i remember..." said arjun

He gets up from the bed,freshen up and goes to kitchen to make coffee...
After some minutes radhika gets up and comes to the kitchen to help him prepare breakfast..

Radhika instructed arjun..and arjun followed her instructions while cooking...

A week passed,arjun started enjoyin cookin...radhika sometimes used to allow arjun to play xbox but not more than a hour...sometimes they both played..

After two weeks...arjun had learnt to make chappati..but his chapati was never a round...

"Radhika!look...m not able make a round..." said arjun

"Its okay arjun..a beginner will take time to make a perfectly round chappati..." said radhika who was standing beside him...

Arjun glares at radhika who is smiling...

At the end of 1 month arjun had become a good chef for sure..he could now cook variety of foods..

Now whenever arjun gets free time,he spents his free time in kitchen with his wife...

Hi rose thanks for d pm. Nice chapter. It's lovely... Please keep writing them. Through ur stories ardhika is still alive. Once again thank u soo much for writing these wonder ful stories which r so special and sweet. Many left I suppose. Thank u for staying back and giving us all these chapters.
