Part 1
The stars dim around,the night fades out,the the darkness deepens..the night welcomes the dawn..
Arjun's house:
Arjun wakes up and looks at his phone...it was 3:45 am..he turns and looks at radhika peacefully sleeping next to him and smiles...
He slowly gets up from the bed,walks up to the cupboard and opens it slowly without makin any noise...he turns around and looks at radhika...he takes his shirt,pant and towel and goes to the bathroom...
The table clock hits 4 and it starts to ring...radhika hears the alarm and opens her eyes..she hurriedly gets up, takes the alarm and tries to turn it off...
"Shhh..shh..arjun will wake up.." said radhika in a sleepy voice juggling the clock in her hand..
She finally turns it off and looks beside her..but doesnt find arjun on the bed...
She wonders where arjun is...
Just then arjun comes out of the bathroom rubbing his wet hair with towel...he sees radhika and says "good morning,radhika..." with a smile..
Radhika thinks that its her imagination...she rubs her eyes and again looks him..arjun was standing infront of her...
Radhika looks at him astonished and said "good morning.."
Arjun never woke up before 6 am...radhika usually struggled to wake him up...but today he was fresh and dressed in cement coloured cotton shirt and black pant...
Radhika begins to wonder how come he woke up before the arrival of golden ball..she thinks hard on what the reason could be..
"dont think too much...get up and get ready soon..." said arjun lookin at radhika...
Radhika gets up from the bed,takes a baby pink and white coloured salwar and goes to the bathroom...
As soon as radhika gets inside bathroom,arjun takes his tab and goes to kitchen...
Radhika while brushing her teeth begins to think y arjun got up so early...
On the oher hand arjun took his tab and typed "how to make kheer" in the google search..it shows some results..arjun clicks on some website..it shows the procedure to make kheer...he starts preparing it..
At 4:30,Radhika comes out of the bathroom and looks around..she hears some noise coming from the kitchen and goes there..she sees arjun arrangin the fruits,sweets on the plate...she sees a bowl of kheer and some parathas on the plate..she gets astonished..
Arjun turns and looks at radhika who is looking at the food items...
"You are ready...come lets do the pooja first.." said arjun
Arjun's voice makes her to come out of her trance...
"Huh..." said radhika...
"Come...lets do the pooja first..." said arjun..he takes her hand and walks up to he mandir...
Radhika after arranging the pooja thaal,does the pooja...
After the pooja...arjun takes radhika's hamd and walks up to the dinning table..he makes her sit on the chair..he goes to the kitchen and takes the kheer,parathas,sweets and fruits and places it on the table...he sits next to her..
"Eat..." said arjun..
"Arjun...i cant eat..." replied radhika
"Y..." asked arjun..
"Arjun..today is karva chauth...nd m fasting..." said radhika...
"I know today is karva chauth and i also know that you are goin to keep a fast...but before that eat somethin.." said arjun..
"Its your sargi...eat it..." arjun added..
" sargi...!" Said radhika..
"Yes...your sargi...now eat it before sunrise..." said arjun..
"Arjun...but..sargi is..." said radhika
But arjun stops her midway and says "first eat...we can talk later..."..he takes a barfi and goes to feed her..
Radhika looks at him lovingly...she takes a barfi from his hand and feeds him first...
"First..you eat..." said radhika..
Radhika then begins to eat paratha,kheer and other sweets...arjun too eats the parthas and sweets...
Arjun takes a glass of water and gives it to radhika...radhika takes the glass and drinks water...
Neil's house:
Neil dressed in royal blue shirt and black pant stands beside their bed with a toy trumpet in his hand...as the clock hits 4..he blows it and wakes sam up..sam after listening to the sound gets up hurriedly..she looks at neil angrily...
"Get up...get up..." said neil with a smile...he gives the towel and dress to sam and asks her to get ready fast...after 30 minutes sam comes outside the bathroom dressed in a sky blue color top and black jean...
Neil looks at her and smiles...he takes sam along walks up to the hall...prerna waits there with the sargi...sam hugs prerna...prerna gives the sargi thaal to sam and asks her to have it before sunrise...
Sam takes the thaali and starts eating..neil takes some sweets from her plate and eats it...
At the crack of dawn,the sun peeps out makin the earth warm...the first rays falls on the earth..
Arjun's house:
Arjun and radhika are sitting on the sofa...
"How did you know about sargi..." asked radhika curiously..
"Google..." said arjun with a smile..
Radhika doesnt say anything further...she wanted to say that sargi is given by mother in law but she stopped herself...she knew that talkin about his mother will make arjun sad..so choose not to ask anything...
Arjun and radhika had a conversation about karva chauth before 2 days when mala called radhika to tell about karva chauth...mala had called radhika to come to hrishikesh for karva chauth...but due to some work arjun and radhika couldnt go..and mishra family also couldnt make it to mumbai as their shop was under renovation...but mala had instructed radhika about what to do on karva chauth...
Yesterday night too mala called radhika to remind about karva chauth..
Radhika feels a bit low..this was the first time that she was away from her family on some occassion...arjun sees her upset and tries to deviate her...
"So...what is the story of karva chauth..." asked arjun...
Arjun knew the story of karva chauth..he googled about karva chauth...but still he wanted to hear the story from radhika...and radhika knew this...she knew that arjun wanted to hear the story from her..
"So...you dont know the story..." asked radhika
Arjun innocently nods in dissagreement...
"There are a lot stories on karva chauth..there is story of karva,story of draupadi,story of veeravati..." said radhika
"And there is story of satyavan and savitri.." said radhika looking at arjun wih a smile...
They both remember the day when radhika refused to sit in his car and walked on the road...
Both smile...
"But its mainly about veeravati..." said radhika
Radhika starts narrating the story and arjun listens to her...
Neil's house:
Sam asks prerna about karva chauth's importance..
Prerna looks at her caresses her hair and says "karva chauth is kept for husband's long life,his safety and to get him as husband for next seven births.."
Prerna's gets teary eyed as she remember's mr.malhotra...
"Oh...god...i have to bear you for next seven birth" said neil lookin at sam...
Prerna hears this and she smiles...prerna holds neil's ears and asks neil to stoo teasing sam...
"Leave my ear ma..." said neil..
They have some light conversation...
After some minutes neil and sam leave for work..
Arjun's house:
As radhika finishes her story...mala calls her...
She sees that its mala and happily takes he phone...
Arjun and radhika talk to mala and other mishra members...
After some minutes they both leave for work...
Bird Song:
All four reach bird song...arjun and neil are in their cabin workin...radhika and sam are in office canteen having some conversation...
Sam and radhika both look at the people around them having some coffee and sweet...
"Strawberry cake..." said sam lookin at the cake kept inside the glass fridge...
"Cold coffee.." said radhika
They both hear what other said...they both look at each other
"If we sit here for some more time we might end up eating something..." said sam
"Yes...lets leave from here..." said radhika
They both leave from there...
Arjun is workin on his lap,when neil comes inside his cabin to discuss something...
Neil comes in and sits on the chair..as he is about to say something,the peon comes there with a coffee cup...
Arjun looks at him and says "i dont...",but he stops,looks at neil and asks the peon to keep the cup...
"Keep the cup on table..." satmmered arjun..
Neil looks at arjun suspiciously...
After keepin the cup,the peon leaves...
"Neil...wat wer you sayin..." asked arjun
Neil starts speaking...he tells about an ad...he continuously looks at arjun and the coffee cup...arjun dint even touch the cup..arjun listens to what neil was saying and at the same time in between worked on lap..
Neil while talkin about the ad asks "have you kept fast..."
"Yes..." said arjun...
Arjun probably dint know that question coming...he realised what he said...
Neil chuckled and started teasing arjun..
"Ahh..hmm...no..no..i said yes for something else..." stammered arjun
Arjun calms himself..
"Sam said that you too have kept fast..." asked arjun
Neil's smile fades...he looks at arjun with eyes wide open...
Now it was neil's turn to stammer..
"Hmm..yes..." said neil
Arjun laughs and says "so you have really kept the fast..i just asked randomly..so u have kept the fast..."
Neil frowned..
Both men had kept fast for their love..
Sam is sitting at her desk,when piyali comes to her and asks her if she kept the fast..sam nods in agrerment..sam and piyali have some chat...
Its afternoon...
All staff memebers gather around the reception area..sam,arjun,neil and radhika come there...all look at them..
"Okay..today the office hours will be upto 3 pm only..after that you all can go home.." said arjun smiling..
All staff memebers become happy...
After 3 pm all staff leave for home...
Arjun and radhika reach their home,neil and sam too reach their home...

Okay..this part is kinda weak...if i hurt any religious sentiment by this part i apologise...i had to google certain things...watched some serials but none showed karva chauth properly...part 2 will be updated tmr...
