Apology

It was a very fine afternoon,the sun shone its golden ray..making everything on earth to shine..the waves crashing on the shore just made the afternoon more wonderful..

In hrisikesh,sam comes downstairs wearing a printed balloon top and black jean...she scans the room,dadaji,mala and dilip wer in the hall having some conversation,while radhika,arjun,ankush and neil wer at the dinning table laughing and having some sweet conversation...she smiles seeing everyone...

Mala sees sam..."do u want anything,sam?" Asked mala..sam with a content smile nods in agreement..she walks towards them...she looks at mala...

Sam swiftly got down on her knees and took mala's hands..

Dadaji,mala and dilip get startled at her behaviour..

"What are you doin,beta?" Asked mala

"Beta,what are you doin,stand up" said dilip..

Sam looks at mala with guilt..she holds mala's hand firmly..

"Forgiveness..i want forgiveness.." said sam..

"Beta...you dont have.." said mala...sam stops her mid way and says "ma,what i did to radhika was wrong..i was so blinded that i dint see what is right.."

"Sam,Whatever happened was destiny's game,you were just a victim,you are not at fault..." said dilip

"You dont have to apologise,sam.." added dadaji..

"No dadaji,its all cos my fault,ma, i said that i will take care of chashni,but what did i do..i hurt her..i couldnt keep up with my words..i made a mistake..forgive me..." said sam in a brittle tone...

Sam's became teary eyed.."i accept whatever punishment you give,forgive me..." said sam..

"You dint do any mistake,beta...now get up" said mala

Mala makes sam to stand up and makes her sit beside her..she wipes her tears and says "you are also my daughter..no need to apologise",mala caresses her hair..

"Haan,beta..you are also like my daughter..you dont have to apologise..whatever happened is past...dont feel guilty of what happened..." said dilip..

Dadaji smiles and says "will you clean my ears..."

Sam gets confused...she looks at dadaji...

"Your punishment,you will have to clean my ears.." said dadaji smiling at sam...

Sam looks at dadaji and nods her head in agreement and says "ofcourse dadaji..."

They have light conversation...

In the dinning area,

Arjun,ankush sit silently,whereas neil tries to concince radhika...they have cute fight..

"Sam dint call me cos she was angry,but y dint to u call me for your wedding" asked radhika angrily..

"But..chashni..it all happened so quickly..we dint get..." said neil..

Arjun stares at neil and stops him mid way and said "i said them,let everything get sorted out,let radhika come..then you get married..but no..neil wanted the marriage to happen at the earliest..."

Arjun looks at neil and further adds "you should have waited a little bit neil,what was the need to get married so soon..."

Neil looks at arjun,widens his eyes,he looks at radhika and says "he is lying..dont believe.."

"Arjun sir,cant lie about this..." said radhika..

Neil looks at arjun who is smiling to himself..

"Liar,liar..." murmurs neil in a low voice lookin at arjun..

This fight goes on,till sam there and interrupts them...

Sam looks at radhika..."shall we got to your favourite place,triveni ghat" asked sam..

Radhika looks at sam and nods... "yes,ofcourse.." she said with a sweet smile

"Okay,lets go..i will get ready.." said neil..

Arjun looks at sam and understand that she wanted some momets alone with radhika...

Neil gets up and is about to go...arjun stands up,he puts his arm around his shoulder and says "i think we some work this evening..let them go.."

"What work..." neil asked...arjun before he could say anything takes him away...

Radhika gets ready,she takes her white bag and comes downstairs..sam too gets ready...radhika comes out and sees sam in a scooty...she looks at her and asks how the scooty came...sam says that she had asked ankush to arrange for a scooty,so he arranged it...

sam asks radhika to sit..radhika sits and they drive to triveni ghat...as they reach triveni ghat,sam parks the scooty and they go inside...both stand there near the shore..

They both stood there in silence for a moment..

Radhika breaks the silence and says "isnt this place beautiful,you know.."

Sam interrupts her and say "m sorry..."

Radhika looks at sam and says "sam..you dont have to..."

Sam stops her midway and says "no radhika...let me complete..some things should be talked out at right time..if i dont tell you today,my heart might never forgive me,m bearing a heavy burden in mt heart,let me keep it down..let me talk.."

Radhika looks at sam and slightly nods,she gives an encouraging smile...the last time she saw her like that was during their conversation about her brother jai...radhika saw sam's regretful eyes...she thought that it would be better that she let sam talk and remains silent..

Sam said"the most important things are hardest to say..."she sighed and further added "true.."

Sam took a long breath before speaking.."The most valuable things wer so close to me,but i was so blind that i dint see it..you mended my relation with mom,made me know my worth,held me wen i was shattered,
Embraced me wen i was alone,you wer there,you wer there always protecting me..but wat did i do...i misundertood you...i should have trust you..i went a little far that day..i shouldnt have gone that far...m...m...m sorry radhika..i made a mistake...m sorry..."

Radhika feels her pain and says "its not your fault sam,whatever happened was a big misunderstanding...you dont need to apologise...you dont have to.."

Sam in pained voice said "no radhika...i made a mistake.." she further adds "i dont expect an instant recovery..but we can start getting along now and soon become friends like before...is there a chance,that we could be friends like before...will you hold my hand tightly like before,will you protect me,will you embrace me...will you...can we have a new start..."

Radhika looks at her,she could feel the pain in sam's voice...she looks at sam,she remebers their night at office..she takes a diary milk from her bag and starts eating it...sam looks at her puzzled...after eating half of diary milk...she wraps it and holds it in her hand...

Radhika in a peaceful voice lookin at sam says "y...y do we have to start afresh...our freindship never ended..what is a friendship without a crack...these cracks strengthens friendship...we dont have start afresh,we can start from wer we left...",she hands that wrapped diary milk to sam...

Radhika smiling says "do you remeber sam,that day wen we both stayed at office...you left an half eaten wrapped diary milk for me..there's wen our journey started and look now how far we have traveled..a long journey..wasnt it..."

Sam smiles and says "indeed a long one..."

Sam looks at the choclate and remembers the night,she unwraps it and starts eating..
They both smile...

After a while...

Radhika says "together"

Sam too says "together"

Radhika and sam both say together "together in this journey forever..." and hug each other...

After some a moment,

Sam and radhika smile,sam puts her arm around radhika's shoulder...they both smile at each other and look at the sunset...
