So both Rads and Sam got attention from a writer and a director. Hisab barabar🤣

But I must say that whoever directed ArDhika scenes like the dori scene, first hug, store room scene and the confession scene was superb. Just loved all their scenes⭐️

Radz is innocence personified. So, when someone like Arjun comes up close and personal in the small confines of a lift, pushed against the wall, hands held tightly and this big handsome man literally rubbing noses with you (which is how the Eskimos kiss, btw!) and staring deeply into your eyes, mesmerizing you...what will you do? Become nervous at his intensity...remember, he was holding her for a looong time...all the stops the lift made, they didn't even realize people were trying to enter!!
She would have felt something which she didn't understand and it scared the hell out of her...I believe that was the first time that the woman in her was awakened and it petrified her. Hence the tears.

I agree with Pippa that it was a combination of both. But the smile had more to do with Radhika as he kept looking in her direction ... Probably a feeling of pride and challenge going through him. Amazingly as soon as Sam came in his view (after Radz left), the smile disappeared instantly and he was back to his scowling self.

I dint find much in that eye lock in the lift nor the earlier scene where Arjun carries Rads in his arms. The first one that I loved was the dori scene where I could see their chemistry and then the scenes just started adding magic on screen ⭐️
