Kailashi was always the evil one who did not want a female descendant. She isn't a normal human, with normal feelings. Just like Rajnandini who uses her own son as a tool and hurts him when required. They are devoid of any normal feelings.

So Kailashi indirectly saves Doree in today's epi (she leaves clues that play a key role in Maan saving Doree)

They never fully clarified the reason of Kailashi hating girl that much and basti people

In S1, they changed the background story of kailashi thay they setup initially.

Before bringing twins track (kailashi and Rukmani)... That are going show that Kailashi husband is having marrital affair with Basti woman ( Ganga birth mother.. thay also hinted that through Ganga Nani. She told on one episode Ganga mother comeback Basti after getting pregnant)...

Thats the reason why Kailashi hate basti people so much and bahave like them as trash...

I can kinda understand her disliking the basti folks, but it's the utter hate for her own khoon that I find a bit difficult to digest. Like it or not, any future male descendants who carry Kailashi's blood have to come from either Doree or Paro (realistically only D coz P has been written out of the story). And for Kailashi, Doree is still a full-blood for what it's worth; Paro's mother is from the same bunkars she hates.

@bold, when I read the summary of S1, it seemed pretty obvious that the double role track was done for TRP/show elongation purposes.

They might even make this Meera some humshakal in S2 (the real one actually died, and this is a plan by everyone to get her into the house as Maan's mother and then separate Doree and him). Sounds illogical, but this is ITV after all!

Paro was supposed to be Deep's second wife, Neelu died for it. They changed it to keep Kavya in the story. Daadi is so useless, despite being the Matriach, she can't do a thing when her grandsons go on to take a second wife.

Rajnandini wanted to save Ambika so that she wouldn't spill the truth about Neelu murder. Doree tried to save Meera but she herself gets trapped. Maan tries to save her but looks like it will be Kailashi who will save them. This will give her entry in the Thakur house. Don't think we will see Ambika for some time now.
