Respect priests

Hi everyone,

I am a huge tv serial buff and watch a number of serials with a passion. Although in general i enjoy them the one thing I have never enjoyed is the way producers and writers portray religious priests (regardless of religion). Whether be it an ekta serial or a non ekta serial they always show a priest being bribed to give wrong information or cause harm to couples. I feel writers are taking this too far. At the rate they are going no one is going to have any faith priests if they can so easily be bribed which is completely untrue. What do you guys think?

I totally agree with you. They should not involve religion in plotting weird plans. In DSK's July 30 update, one thing was bothering me a lot. Chatanya was orphan and left on the doorsteps of the orphanage. Then how did pandit ji come to know about his kundali? To my knowledge, true kundalies are created only if you know the exact time and date of the person born. What do you think?

yeah in all the series they show us tht its very easy to bribe the guruji n change our destiny.......
there are certain people who might lie to us in order to get extra cash. but every 1 is not like that

our parents never give up their faith in horoscope and stuff just cos few no of dramas give negative image about guruji
it is totally up to us to decide what we want to believe and what we dont.

@attitude : good point..... now even im wondering how they got the horoscope for chetanya when he was an orphan 😕
mayb his mother wrote his birth date and time when she left him in front of the orphanage 😆

yea i agree...i wont say ALWAYS but Most of the Time they do show priests being bribed...
I completely agree with wht u said abt trusting priests..If they keep on showing priests being bribed in seriels..then no one will trust priests in real life...

Not only priests but the doctors are also shown bribed to change the reports according to the convenience of the person who is bribing. 😡 I mean cammon Doctory is such a respectable profession and the doctors are sometimes considered bhagwaan when they save someone's life. 👏 But these producers and directors are making a mockery of all these professions on the television. I wonder how they feel when they see their profession portrayed so badly on TV.

this bribery system is very common in Asian countries
these days u cn do anything and get away cos of this
but tht does not mean every person like to take bribe...

there are few no of ppl who refused to take bribes to cover up for some1 else.....
in the story vikram is very mean to anu, maya hates anu..but tht doesnt mean every father n every step mother who is in the same situation treat their daughter in the exact same way they treat anu.....
like tht...all the priest do not take bribes....

if u think abt this.. there is another thing tht we learn frm tv series.. tht is..
mother-in-law n sister-in-laws are evil all the time.. they love to torture the daughter-in-law...which is nt true in real life....(in most cases 😕 )
if we start believing everything we get to c on TV... we are in big trouble by nw

but yeah..according to tv series pandit ji is very good at giving out fake information, never go to a doc if u r sick...cos they might say u r dying when u have fever, never get married to a guy if his mother is still alive 😕 if u commit a crime u cn get out of jail in few days..so nothing to worry abt
