Why is Preeti so adamant against Sumi's divorce?

It makes no sense! Why on earth should she be married to someone whom she is already seperated by? Who does not respect her and etc?

I totally agree with you. it is soooooo annoying to see the lead of the serial force someone to forget their self respect and stay with a husband who tried to sell her. Even if Rishi changes there is no way sumi should forget her self respect and stay with him. Plus what kind of point are they trying make across and teach people that no matter what ur husband does, you should always respect him and stay with him. And it also shows that Preeti doesnt care about her sister or love her or else she would never ask her to change her decision, sumi always supported Preeti in everything she did but preeti is just a dissappointment and the worst role model for young girls.

Preeti has seen the repentance on Rishi's face and so she wants him to be given a chance.This is India,here marriages are made in heaven and a woman tries her best actaully she gives her life to her marriage.I am not saying that Rishi should not be punished for his brutal doings with his wife,I am only trying to understand Preeti's point of view and respect her.It is easy to make comments on the post but maybe if we had been at Preeti's place whose sister's marriage is on stake and finds one sign of hope to save it,we would have also given a try.

Rishi sorry RISHI RAICHAND IS ON THE ROADS,not a HAVELI to live in,not a BLACKBERRY to pay bills for,not a 1000 BUNDLE in his pocket to spend to GAMBLE on horses and he worth's it.Now he has begun to understand the true meaning of life.....love.family,relations which he had put on stake for MONEY.Aisa insaan jab badalta hain to HEERA ban jaata hain.....So he should be given a chance atleast by his MOM and DAD.

As far as Sumi and Rishi are concerned,I can understand Sumi's grievances being a girl.Me being at the same stage might have taken such a decision.I am not asking her to stop,but to delay it as somebody very near to her has advised her...The one jisne apni samjhdaari,pyaar aur samarpan se AMMAJI jaisi DAYAN ka dil bhi jeet liya aur use badal diya...I think Preeti is worth being listened to....I think Sumi should avoid Rishi as usual but should observe him on Preeti's advice and then take a decision.

Sumi,toot kar jo rishte bante hain wo zindagi bhar ke rishte hote hain.Agar ye baat maanni nahi hain to kam se kam jaate jaate us us jaanwar ko insaan bana ke to jaa yaar........phir divorce de dena....dont talk to him,abuse him as much as u can.....lekin divorce mat do ABHI...tumhe paane ki jhoothi aas mein bhi sahi...lekin wo insaan to ban hi jaayega..
