Tucking little Rahul in bed..Antara came out on the terrace that was facing the guest house. The showers had stopped and the moon was out. She glanced at the guest house. A figure was standing in the patio holding the rails. "Raghu! Antara whispered. "I missed you so much but now that you are back..I'm scared! "I'll take you in my arms again but what if you leave us again saying that the terrorist group is after you and we are not safe around you? Antara was just throwing questions which she didn't know the answers to. Raghu moved his gaze towards her terrace. He saw her clearly in the moonlight. Antara saw him looking at her. .with a painful heart she came running inside. She ran towards aai's bedroom. Aai was sitting on her bed when antara collapsed on her lap while sobbing. "Antara beta..kiya huwa? "Tu pareshaan kiyu hai? Aai asked while caressing her head. "Aai..woh Raghu. .Raghu agaya hai aai. Antara said. "Mujhey patah hai and that's why I rented out the guest house only to him. Antara's eyes widened. "Kiya? Antara asked in shock." Han beta abh bahut hogaya..woh wapas agaya hai terey aur Rahul ke paas..tum ussey batah do ki Rahul uska beta hai..Aai said. "May sab batana chahiti hu aai..lekin what if he leaves us again?" Antara said. "May kiya karu aai? "I have no choice."For my baby's safety I'll have to lie. Antara said. She was hurt scared and angry. But somewhere deep down her she had hope...for them. Hope was a stubborn thing. Somewhere deep inside of her ..Antara sensed a spark of possibility. Everything will be ok just allow him in your life once again. Something said from inside. She slowy got up and headed towards her bedroom. Her baby was sleeping soundly. She caressed him lovingly. "I'm sorry darling. .I have to keep you away from your papa..for your safety. She said. "But is this fair to Rahul? "Itna chota hai woh aur aaj bhi apney papa ka intazaar karta hai woh. Antara said. Antara was trembling as if an earthquake was starting somewhere. In a manic..dread-filled daze..Antara browsed through his pictures on her phone. "I still love you Raghu lekin may kiya karu? Her fresh tears made its way down her cheeks. Antara sat on her bed..her brain was racing. .spinning dark scenarios. .churning up clouds of pain that made clear thought impossible. There was tightness in her chest..a lump in her throat. She was caught in a tug of war between love and trust. Antara sat in the silence of the night and started crying. Antara spent that night crying and sobbing. Raghu too didn't sleep. He needed some answers from antara. "Has she moved on? That question was driving him nuts. Next morning Antara didn't go to school because she was tired and exhausted from last nights breakdown. "Momma peesh mujhey meley dost se milna hai! Rahul wanted to Raghu and play with him." Rahul I told you..you cant meet him. Antara said. "Lekin kiyu momma? Rahul asked. Rahul jumped in excitement when he saw the sandwich. Raghu was feeding Rahul when Antara entered the guest house and froze at the door. Rahul was giggling and doing high five with Raghu. Antara's eyes moistened at their bonding. "Rahul!! Antara voice hit their ears. They both twitched their head to see. Rahul hugged Raghu tightly. "Momma ke saath nai jaana! But before Antara could reach him Rahul ran and hid under the bed! "I'll. .I'll bring him over. Raghu said. Hearing his deep voice.. Antara's legs turned to jelly. His voice was soft and husky as always. Rantara gazed into each other's eyes. Antara gulped and skipped a beat when Raghu started to approach her." Dark circles around your eyes and swollen eyes tells me you didn't sleep last and stayed up crying. Raghu said while grabbing her hand he pulled her inside his bedroom and locked the door." Raghu choro mera haath!" Darwaza kiyu bandh kiya tumney? Antara's heart was beating faster. Raghu left her hand.His fierce gaze was burning her alive. Antara took backsteps as raghu neared her. Raghu..ra..rahul bahaar hai I..I have to go. Antara pleaded." Not till you answer my questions. Said Raghu. Antara's back collided with the wall. Raghu caged her between his steel like powerful arms. He then leaned forward and pressed his lips on her forehead in a light kiss. Antara closed her eyes. "Kaysi ho Antara. .He asked softly. Brushing all her hair strands back he kissed her forehead once again..lingering for a moment longer. Antara's eyes filled up. "Jee rahi hu..zinda laash ki tarah. Antara whispered in between her sobs. Raghu's heart ached. He placed a light kiss above her eyebrows. Antara was weak in her knees. She shot her eyes open. .raghu was gazing deep in her eyes. "Ja..janey do mujhey Raghu. Antara said. "Pahelay mujhey ye batao..Rahul mera baccha hai na? He asked. Antara gulped. .she knew this would come. "Jawaab do Antara! " Mujhey maalum hai Rahul mera apna khoon hai lekin mujhey tumarey muh sey sunna hai. Raghu demanded an answer. Antara trembled at his raised tone. Antara killed all her emotions and feeling when she said. "Nahi! "Rahul tumara baccha nahi hai! Antara said as she clutched her dress for strength. "Fir uska baap kaha hai? Raghu asked. Raghu knew she was lying as she couldn't meet his gaze while talking. "Over..overseas. Antara lied. Raghu chuckled. He released her and said. "Jaaiye. Antara didn't expect him to let go of her so easily. Breathing heavily Antara came out. "Rahul chal baby ghar chaltey hai. Antara said. Raghu stood behind her with folded arms. "Nai momma mujhey dost ke saath thelna hai. Rahul said from under the bed. Antara looked at Raghu. "Tum jaao I'll bring him over. Raghu said. Antara left. Raghu got under the bed and pulled chubby cheeks out. Raghu tickled him as Rahul just laughed. "Momma ko pareshaan karkey aapko maza aatah hai? Rahul sat on his tummy and tickled him. Father son rolled on the floor. "Champ..mujhey ek baath bataao..aapkey papa kaha hai? Raghu asked. "Mela papa bahut door hai..momma kayti hai woh ek din zalool ayega. Rahul said. "Aapney khabhi usko dekha hai? Asked Raghu. "Han..picture me..meley paas meley papa ka bahut saari pictures hai..aapko dekhna hai? Asked Rahul. Raghu noded. "Fir aap chalo meley saath meley kamrey me. Rahul said while getting up. Raghu got up and followed little Rahul. Pulling his hands. .Rahul sneaked in to his bedroom. Rahul closed the door behind them. "Momma ko patah nai chalna chahiye ki hum dono dost yaha pal hai. Rahul whispered in Raghu's ears. Raghu smiled and said no. Rahul pulled out his album and showed it to Raghu. With a nervous hands and thuding heart he opened the album. His eyes widened when he saw the album covered with his older pictures! His eyes filled up when Rahul said. "Ye meley papa hai..meley papa bahut strong hai..momma kayti hai ki papa humsey bahut pyaal karta hai. Rahul said. Raghu took Rahul in his arms and cried. He rained his face with his kisses. "Mera baccha! He sobbed. "Dost aap roh kiyu rahey ho? Rahul asked Raghu. "Bas aysey hi beta. Raghu said. Raghu left when aai came to get rahul. Raghu came to guest house and shaved some of his stubble. He was now looking like the Raghu in Rahul's pictures. A smiled appeared on his lips. That evening Rahul sneaked out to play with Raghu. "Dost..I'm back! Rahul said from the doorway. Raghu turned to look at him. Rahul's eyes widened. .with tear filled eyes he ran to Raghu. "Papaaa!!! Raghu took him in his embrace. "Aap meley papa ho? Rahul asked while kissing his cheeks. "May hii aapka papa hu Rahul. .aur aapki momma ye baath jaanti hai...shayad woh mujhey chahiti hii nai. Rahul just listened to Raghu with confused expression. Raghu and Rahul wiped each other's tears." Aap mujhey kabhi chor kar mat jana papa! Rahul said while hugging him tight." Kabhi nai! Raghu assured him. Rahul planned to bring his momma papa closer. That day when rahul came home from the guest house. .Antara was upset. "Kaha thay aap rahul? "Apney papa ke saath aur kaha. Replied Rahul. Antara was shocked. "Aapko kaysey patah ki woh aapka papa hai? Antara asked. "Momma you forgot. .meley paas meley papa ka pictures hai! Antara's eyes widened. "Momma mayney apney papa ko dinner par bulaaya hai..so peesh aap meley papa ke liye dinner banaiye. Antara was speechless. She didn't know what to say.
