Antara couldn't sleep that whole night. Even though she got a new pair of eyes to see..she felt without raghu her life was still in pitch black darkness. Antara held the rose in her hand that Raghu gave her. It was dried but still safe in Antara's book. She caressed his hanky and his black leather wrist band. "Kaha chaley gaye tum Raghu? With tears rolling down her cheeks Antara laid down on her bed. Closing her eyes she remembered when she became friends with Raghu.

"Will you be my angel..Angel by my side?
Antara had stretched her hands towards Raghu..and he had taken her soft hands into his..accepting her friendship. Today her Angel..her Raghu wasn't with her. And that was the fact. She buried her head in the pillow as realization struck her.

Next morning machmach came to pick her up. He was scared for her. "What will happen after she reads the letter?" How will she react? Mm said in his heart. Soon they were driving towards Raghu's house. "Mm bhaiya..Raghu ka kuch patah chala? Antara asked on the way. "Nai. He replied. Antara's face fell. Soon they arrived at Raghu's place. "Aaj may paheli baar aapkey ghar aai hu..lekin aap nai ho..Antara said while climbing the steps. Mm opened the doors as Antara entered his house for the very first time. The house was beautiful but Antara wasn't paying attention to anything right now..she just needed to read the letter. "Documents aur letter uskey bedroom me hai..come with me. Mm said. Antara followed him to Raghu's bedroom. The documents and letter were on his bed. Leaving Antara in the bedroom mm left ..he came out and paced the hallway. .he was really worried for Antara. With a clumsy hand..Antara opened the letter.

RAGHU'S LETTER TO ANTARA. ..

CONGRATULATIONS MISS KAUL! YOU GOT A NEW PAIR OF EYES! I TOLD YOU THAT YOU WILL SEE ONE DAY AUR DEKHO TUM DEKHNEY BHI LAGI HO. I PROMISED YOU NA AUR DEKHO MAY NEY APNA WAADA PURA KIYA. Antara fell down on her knees and screamed. ."Raghu!!!" Broken and shattered. .she hugged the letter and cried her heart out. Her world seemed to be moving around her..her head was spinning. .she felt sick to her stomach. .the floor seemed to be moving away from under her feet. "Kiyu kiya aapney aysa?" Antara cried." You gave me your eyes! Antara's forehead touched the floor as she cried. "Kiyu Raghu? "Kiyu kiya aapney aysa? "Mujhey andherey se nikaal kar khud andherey me kho gay? Antara wept. "Kiyu ki woh tujhsey behat pyaar karta hai antara. Machmach said from the doorway. "May..may kaysey jiungi..may nai jee sakti unkey bina..may..may mar jaaungi..woh..woh mera sabkuch hai..my Angel. .he...he cant leave me! "Humara dil ka rishta hai..hum..hum DO DIL EK JAAN HAI! "Hum alag nai ho saktey..kabhi nai..even death cant do us apart! "Fir usney merey saath aysa kiyu kiya? "I need you raghu!" I want you raghu! "Please waapas aa jaao..aajao na please! Antara was shattered. Mm helped her up. "Sambhalo apney aap ko antara. .bhaai said not to cry na..if you cry he will cry too. Mm said. He wiped her tears. Antara hugged him and cried. Mm couldn't withhold his tears...it just flowed down. "May hu na.. I will do anything to keep you safe and happy. Mm said. Broken and devastated antara sat down on the bed and opened the documents. His entire properties were on Antara's name. Still sobbing Antara ran his hands on his bed..."may kaysey jiungi aap ke bina raghu...Antara wept. Her eyes caught the closet..she weakly walked up to the closet. Her heart pierced as she opened his closet. His clothes were hanging nicely on the hangers. She embraced his clothes and cried. His manly scent along with his cologne were still on them. She buried herself in them..she will forget everything but not his aroma..his essence. .his rugged saltiness. .his smell will always remain with her. Grabbing some of his shirt Antara came and sat on the bed. Mm felt sorry when he saw her tear stained cheeks. "Kitna toot chuki hai ye..bhaai ke bina kaysey jii paayegi ye? Mm thought. "Mm bhaiya..humey raghu ko dhoondna parega. Antara said. "Hum kaha dhoondengey ussey..patah nai woh India mey hai bhi ki nai. Mm said. "Woh India me hii hai..I know woh yahi kahi hai. Antara said. That day Antara moved in Raghu's house with the help of mm. Ruksana who was mm's fiance was coming to stay with Antara for sometime. That night Antara just stared at her eyes in the mirror. Her eyes were dark brown..she gently closed her eyelids and touched it with her fingertips. "I love you raghu! She whispered. "Mera wada hai raghu...I'll find you and bring you back. Antara said. Mm stayed over at Raghu's place because Antara was alone. She asked for Raghu's pictures but mm said Raghu burned his pictures and the clothes that he left behind were for donating. Antara was wide awake that night. She tossed and turned on his bed. She was waiting ki kab subha hojaaye. Finally the sun came up spreading its sunlight everywhere. Antara got up feebly..mm was already in the kitchen when Antara came to the kitchen. "Aaj breakfast may bana raha hu kalsey tum aur ruksana sambhaal Lena. Mm said. Antara noded. She felt empty and incomplete without raghu. Her eyes were filling every now and then but she was suppressing her tears. Later in the day ruksana arrived. Antara and her became friends very quickly. Antara and ruksana planned to visit every blind society in Mumbai each day. "Raghu is here somewhere but I will find out. Antara said boldly. From that day onwards Antara and ruksana started visiting every blind society in search of raghu. Ruksana was tired and exhausted but Antara kept on going. .she never gave up. One day they came to a building like jyoti niwas..Antara went inside and looked around. Suddenly that familiar scent reached her nostrils. Her eyes widened. Excitement was running in her veins. "He's here ruksana! "He's somewhere here! Antara followed the scent that was in the thin air. The essence took her to a beautiful garden outside the building. A concert was going on. The blind people were performing. Antara's eyes searched for him. "Ruksana you know his face na? "So please merey saath chalo to where the scent leads us. Ruksana noded. The girls searched everywhere. Ruksana went the other side while antara sticked to her route. Antara's eyes caught a guy with sunglasses playing violin with others. Antara ripped through the crowd and finally reached the guys back. Antara sniffed in the familiar perfume on him. Her heart was thuding hard and she knew that this guy in front of her was raghu! Antara slowly reached out and touched his shoulder. The guy stopped playing and turned.
