Completely agreed to u!!! Its disappointing that cv's cd nt justify the title of the show itself!! Antara is nymore Raghu's Bhabhi,do u cl devar-Bhabhi as DDEJ??? I know many wl strt sayin that they r nt real brothers n they themselves don consider each other as brothers!! Bt for both DM is the mother n hence they r brothers n if certain spoilers r to b believed they wl turn out to b half brothers!!! The cv's hv ruined the show n Antara's role!!! The title of the show is justified: Do Dill = Raghu and Satya, Ek Jaan = Antara. It also means, Raghu and Antara, two heart but one soul. Really depends which way you interpret. Since Satya came I realised the double meaning of the title. So what if they are brothers? this marriage is not real, and in Asian societies when one brother dies, his widow did get married to a younger/older brother. Different circumstance but same outcome in many ways. But I would suggest you look beyond that to the emotions of the story.
Wat disappoints me the most is that they care a damn abt our msgs, tweets n petition!! V put in so much of efforts,took time frm a schedule to infrm them wat the audience wnt to watch n wat wl wrk,Bt they don seem to care!! God bless the show!! Writing is hard, months of planning can go into a story, drawing up the character history and GMC's is damn hard work and once writing starts it's too late to change those GMC's and history (though indian shows have done it many times). A writer has a vision of a story, they want to tell it their own way and hopefully in a unique way using the well known tropes that have been around since Aristotle times. Often by the time we the viewers/readers see the story it's too late to change a thing. Each scene is followed on from the previous, cause and reaction has to be logical and respond to the stimlus of the previous. What you are asking is that because of a track not liked by many, you wanted the writers to change shift, do a 90 degrees change. Well sorry, they would have been made a laughing stock in the business, never given any work because the first thing they will be told was 'your writing sucks, you start of one way and then suddenly change for no reason without giving proper reasons'. The seeds of these tracks are already there before we even knew what or who DDEJ is or was. This show has been in planning for years, I would say. The writer probably came up with the idea years ago, looked around for someone to finance the show and then started writing based on the premise he sold the idea in the first place. Two lovers in love, then heroine finds out her lover had a hand in killing her father. Now she wants revenge. Believe me I sold stories based on ideas and I, even if my life depended on it later, could not change it and still expect someone to buy my stories because it will not be the same one I had given the pitch on.
Disappointed wid Nikita also!! She very clearly in one of her interview Hd mentioned that she neither marries Raghu nor Satya n this she Hd tld wearin a sindoor n mangalsutra which means they wer done wid the shootin of Santara marriage!! Y shd she gv fake info!! If she doesn't want to reveal things she cn Cleary say that she cnt reveal!! Y gv fake info n build in false expectation among audience!! Akshay is fare enough in that matter,if he doesn't want to reveal nythin he jus says he cnt reveal n that's the way it shd b rather than givin fake info!! I don't really care for NS due to the way she presents herself on these sbs/sbb show but in her defence I would say she wasn't lying. In real fact she isn't married to anyone, it is all a game and even Satya-Antu marriage is not real - just because they do the pheras, put sindoor, they are married?š²...wow, so easy to get married then! But another fact is I think she has been gagged, given the spillage of spoilers and then the sudden silence, the stars were told to keep mum to keep the suspense.
