Agree!! I too quit the show as of nw!! Nt sure abt quitin forum,mite keep visitin ones a while as I luv u guys!!!Bt cnt tk more shit nymore!!! Antara is bcm Raghu's Bhabhi!! Wow!!! Is this cld Do dil ek jaan!!! Wat a joke of marriage hv they made n wat a joke hv they md of their love story!!!Sleepin wid one brother n gettin married to another one in the name of revenge!!! Wow!!! Wat Sanskar!! Dr Kaul wd hv died again watchin this!! Agree she ws nt in a right frame of mind bt stil I don think her act cn b justified!!! She is nt nly ruinin hers n Raghu's life bt she is also ruinin Satya's life!! N talkin abt the PMS it ws by choice she went in for it!! She cd hv stopped Raghu,n though Raghu ws high wid watever satya added in his sweet if she wd hv stopped her im sure even in that state he wd nt hv gone ahead!!!

This show hs bcm lk ny other show wid no uniqueness left in it!!! I wonder hw long wl the show last!!!

I just want to say why is everyone so against the marriage? And so upset?

We all knew weeks ago this was happening...even yesterday when Antu blew Raghu off, we all knew marriage was on the cards with Satya. So why this backlash? I am so shocked at some of the wording in the posts here. Women saying things like that about another woman, albeit fictional? where is our compassion? where is our understanding of a fellow sister in an impossible tangle?

Really I am so perplexed by this outlash against Antu, even disappointed at some of the overtly aggressive words like slapping her, hating her and etc.

None of us ever know how we will react to a situation like this. Yes I agree it is overly dramatic (in writing, you need to go OTT like I'm being always told by my CPs) but it has to wring emotions from us. But, the crux of the matter is we all have wanted to get even at some point with someone else or because of a situation forced on us. Now in real life I doubt any of us would actually get married for revenge but - a big BUT - often high emotions do cloud reason and logic (scientifically proven due to rush of adrenaline) and the flight or fight chemical floods our body (also when we get scared). Now Antara if left alone, would have burnt everything and then would have rushed off. But Satya's presence incited the fight impulse in her, and her need to hurt -twist the knife in-pull his heart out of his chest as he was standing- rose inside her. Here was her chance to get back at Raghu. She did not think much beyond the dangling carrot and she eagerly grabbed it with both hand. Didn't care who was offering it, could have been any tom, dick and harry but the icing was that it was Raghu's enemy so that made it even better.

When cold reason sweeps the red hot fury away from her, we will see tears. But I don't blame her - I don't like a third person in their love story but having seen enough of life to know that as much as we may want love never ever goes smoothly for one reason or another - I can accept it because I know the premise, if you like the promise of DDEJ, will be fulfilled. That is how Rantara fall in love and find their home in each other. They are two lost souls in their own way, they cannot but help be drawn back to one another because they alone understand each other like no one ever could. Satya's love for Antu is a weak watery version, nowhere near the supernova of Raghu's love. Antu is lost for the moment, and that's alright, she needs to make peace once more with the memories of her father, know that he would have loved Raghu like a son, she needs to remember the MAN she fell in love with had accepted all his attributes and finally understand that her love for him is not wrong.

For those wanting a sweet romance without any heart pounding emotions/ conflicts, I suggest you go and read some Harlequin Mills and Boon. I mean that seriously, they are feel good romances and often gives us that happily ever after we crave when going through difficult times or emotions...I always have some on my keeper shelf, amongst others, as nothing beats a good romance. But do come back to watch Rantara in their amazing journey.😊

@Dreamygal...I really like the way you've put things into perspective...though I haven't watched today's episode...I will do so albeit with a heavy heart...and will continue to as I see the potential in the track for the future and know that Raghu and Antara's love will once more prevail through the testing times ahead...

I just want to say in Asian societies wives have married their husband's brothers after husband has died. I believe this practice still goes in certain parts?

I know Raghu is alive and Antu never even married him...but twist the logic a bit - in her mind Raghu is all but dead to her.

However, the point I want to make, which I just did a long post, is that life is unexpected. Nothing is ever for sure.

I also find these marriage-to another rather than hero- a bit tired, and it does goes against everything I firmly believe in (professionally and personally) but I have written stories where the heroine is a widow or has had a lover before the hero and it's really part and parcel of life. We writers have to show the multi dimensional world we occupy and our characters have to be multi-faceted as well to be believable.

But these type of marriages is very typical in Indian shows, hence they are able to get away with it. In an Western world something like this would be unbelievable because it could never happen this way - they would need to book a date, in the US blood tests is needed, here in the UK to get a registry date will take you weeks!

So what I am really saying is, it's not real..just one possibility out of a hundred but the writer wants to show a certain theme and so we need to sit back and watch but the main story Q of Rantara and their love will be eventually answered.

Antu will never sleep or have sex with Satya. I believe he will get impatient, perhaps even start abusing her. This may be when her eyes start opening...or when DM starts trying to get rid of her.

Why can you not see the story in the same light again? because of an non believable marriage? I guarantee you will like it as before. Beside think of Raghu, he really got the rough end of it. Also I did not like how he was made to be a drunkard, rather than going after her and talking to her. But this is needed so Satya can pusher Antu's button...but still in my mind I was like Raghu would not sit while his Miss Kaul is angry, he would have gone after her and made her yell or scream at him. But as I have not seen the eppys yet I cannot accurately judge it, only going by what I read...

Completely agreed to u!!! Its disappointing that cv's cd nt justify the title of the show itself!! Antara is nymore Raghu's Bhabhi,do u cl devar-Bhabhi as DDEJ??? I know many wl strt sayin that they r nt real brothers n they themselves don consider each other as brothers!! Bt for both DM is the mother n hence they r brothers n if certain spoilers r to b believed they wl turn out to b half brothers!!! The cv's hv ruined the show n Antara's role!!!

Wat disappoints me the most is that they care a damn abt our msgs, tweets n petition!! V put in so much of efforts,took time frm a schedule to infrm them wat the audience wnt to watch n wat wl wrk,Bt they don seem to care!! God bless the show!!

Disappointed wid Nikita also!! She very clearly in one of her interview Hd mentioned that she neither marries Raghu nor Satya n this she Hd tld wearin a sindoor n mangalsutra which means they wer done wid the shootin of Santara marriage!! Y shd she gv fake info!! If she doesn't want to reveal things she cn Cleary say that she cnt reveal!! Y gv fake info n build in false expectation among audience!! Akshay is fare enough in that matter,if he doesn't want to reveal nythin he jus says he cnt reveal n that's the way it shd b rather than givin fake info!!

@punnu-----u know i was a big fan of Ayaz and Nikitas offscreen segments but for quite sumtime i am noticing that most of the time they actually make fun of the questions asked by the reporters ...they dont want to reveal the future track n all ...they also behaved so casually during their marriage track offscreen segments too ...now they dont reply anything staright and serious ...all they do is giggling ,chukling ,making fun of the serious questions ...thats why i even lost interest in their offscreen segments too.

Now i hv to say that the info by ZA productions (i guess 2 months back ) was very true abt this shitty satya and antara marriage track...at that time we were so unhappy with this news ...but as they say truth is always bitter...

@Dreamygal301 - I think you are in the wrong post. No where in this post have I mentioned anything about Antara. I for one have no issues with what she did today. I think for a woman to give herself away to a man, who she loves before marriage is enough to prove her love and loyalty. Nor am I pointing finger at her. So I am not sure who you intended your post for or if that is for the general forum reaction.

However, You are not reading what Brat, Harshu and I are posting.. we are not against conflict. Nor do we want to see coochie cooing.. We understand for any show or story to sustain there will be some ups and downs. There will be pain, happiness, smile, tears, romance, anger, revenge, and etc... Its a mixture of everything.

The problem is I feel they could have gone a different route when it comes to revenge. To me I am not satisfied with this marriage, but this does NOT mean I am taking away the credit from the show! I still feel it has potential.

You have to understand one thing... there will be times when you like something and times when you dont, Voicing your opinion does not mean we are demeaning the show or putting it down content wise. Nor am I quitting... but there are times when certain scenes are not of your interest and you skip over those and that is exactly what I will be doing. Now when i calm down a bit will i go watch the episode? well certainly yes because I do understand the situation of Raghu and Antara and would like to feel their pain and growth as a character.

Lastly, There is really no right or wrong here .. nor can we say this is the best or the worst way... we all have different opinions and being a fan of this show I do hold the right to voice my opinion against something that i dont like... if I praise the show then i should have every right to criticize it.

@Sita & punnubaby: They cant reveal the story especially when they are shooting so many weeks in advance. They also have certain limitations as to what they can reveal and what they cant as they are bounded by contract.. so you cant hold Ayaz and Nikita responsible for this. She did joke about it but it was all in good humor...In no way do they intend to hurt their fans and that is why they maintained that suspense uptil this point of whether the wedding happened or it didnt.
