Who knows how long this will last
Now we've come so far, so fast
But, somewhere back there in the dust
That same small town in each of us
I need to remember this
So baby give me just one kiss
And let me take a long last look
Before we say goodbye

Just lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair fall all around me
Offer up your best defense
But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence
😭

{The End of the Innocence, Don Henley}

Don't these lyrics describe Raghu's as well as our states of mind just so aptly?Since long, I've known that this love story is not going to be easy, and that there is going to be lots of angst and heartbreaks involved. I signed up for this story knowing all that (minus the Phattu marriage, which I am still against😡). I had thought I'd be prepared for it all, but I realized how much ever prepared I might be, the pain wouldn't be lessened. My heart broke for Raghu, I was numb and speechless at the last scene, although I knew it was going to happen. Ayaz Ahmed, take a bow! I am so proud to be your fan!

Those sweet little Rantara moments we saw today, were indeed the last of those innocent moments we've been enjoying so far. From now on, their love is tainted by the harsh reality. We, along with Rantara were living a dream so far. A fairy tale dream, from which Raghu and we have been rudely awakened by fate in the form of DM. Antara has a few more days to dream, before she'll have to face the harsh reality. The truth that will shake the foundation of her whole world. She'll be forced to walk away from the man she loves. She'll crave to be back in the world of dreams, yet curse herself for desiring so. Oh dear girl, I feel for you! Your pain and your dilemma will be unmatched.

Raghu's brief dialogue with Satya means only one thing. Satya's end is written in the hands of Raghu, there is no doubt about that. It's only for DM that Satya was spared today, and Raghu himself says, next time he wouldn't spare him. Even after Antara walks away from him, Raghu will not walk away from the promises he made to her, and himself. Raghu will still be her guardian angel, guiding and protecting her from afar, and if Satya tries to harm her (and he will), he'll pay for his deeds, and death is the only punishment I can think of for him. Now what I wonder is, will Satya's end be before or after Raghu knows of DM's deceit? I guess we'll have to wait and watch.

Ironic to his name, Satya refuses to see the truths. The truth about his own status and Raghu's. The truth of who his mother loves more. The truth that love cannot be snatched. No amount of light can improve the vision of the one who has his eyes closed.

Raghu convincing Mamaji. A beautiful scene in all ways. Mamaji's concern is very justifiable. No parent would easily allow his/her child to marry someone like Raghu, or Raghu bhai, as he puts it. But his fears are put to rest now, with Raghu's assurances. My heart cried at Raghu's dialogues. He truly was a wandering soul who didn't have a proper aim in life, but Antara changed it for him. He's a new man now, one who has known true, pure love and given the same, to the girl who is his life. He would do anything to take away her pains and keep her safe... But unfortunately, unknown to him at this point, he had already inflicted the greatest pain on her.

Daya Mai: Another character of this story whose name is ironic to her nature. There's no 'daya' whatsoever in this woman. And in future, after her downfall, when she craves for some 'daya', there will be none bestowed upon her. She might be cunning, intelligent and clever, but even she makes mistakes, and she did, today. She told Raghu that 'Buntiya' gave her the letter. Such an unnecessary lie to tell, but she did. Just like the driver in yesterday's episode, even Buntiya could now be instrumental in foiling her mask in front of Raghu in future.

The terrace scene and SMS romance. Truly, last of those light hearted innocent scenes we'll see for a long time to come. I sure will cherish those sweet moments we witnessed so far, I am sure that will help me sail through this storm.

Mr. Kaul and Mrs.Naik: Does it mean something? I really don't want to see Antara married to the creep, but I have an ominous feeling that this points to that possible track. Antara living in the Naik house, while Raghu being Mr. Kaul in a way. Helping the Kaul family like the man of the house, probably from afar, without letting them know of it. It could probably be his way of redemption to the loss he unknowingly caused them.

Antara's father's signal. I know many people are confused about that, but I know for sure. Her papa was warning her about the evil that lurks at her door. Beware of him, my child, is what he wanted to say.

Raghu! Oh dear dear Raghu! How does one console a shattered soul as this? Is there any greater anguish than the knowledge that you have inflicted the greatest pain to your beloved? Be strong Raghu, for there is more misery to come your way. Let the love you have guide you, strengthen you... I know you will fight against the tides and emerge victorious. We are all with you!

Today's episode was truly one of a kind! So impactful and balanced. Well done CVs!!!👏 And Ayaz Ahmed, you are the star of this episode! Amazing performance! 👍🏼

And today, we finish the prologue to the turbulent love story called Do Dil Ek Jaan. It's Chapter One from tomorrow. The journey is going to be harsh, difficult, but we'll go through it together, with our dear Raghu and Antara... I hope all of us will stick with them till the end... I know I will...

Today's episode was really good. Each and every character played their part really well, especially if you understand the meaning behind it. Very well balanced episode and this is how it should be CVs.

Raghu and Satya: I was so glad Phattu was mute. I can tolerate him like that rofl! Raghu's point there was important "had it not been for DM, I would have killed you. However, next time, I will kill you" Fore showing an inevitable fight between them. Because there will be a time when Raghu will find out the true colours of DM.

Raghu and Mamaji: Wow, that was really good heartfelt speech by Raghu. He finally has something to live for, and that wonderful lady is Antara, a ray of sunshine in his life. He admits he has done things against the law but that was only to protect other people's interests. Mamaji accepted the relationship because he realised that no matter what, Raghu will always love Antara, and treat her like a princess that she is. That was significant for the story of this show.

That sweet innocent phone call, that sweet balcony romance, so pure yet so innocently passionate. I only wish we had some more of those sort of light hearted romantic scenes but I guess it's time now, as the real story brings tomorrow, which is true reflection of the title song, Mahi tu. It is about the pain unknowingly inflicted on Antara by Raghu and how he can't bare to see such pain.

Now Antara is Mrs Gundi, which I think will be significant later, because when the truth is revealed to her, it will change her life too.

Antara's talk with her dad, asking him for a signal, and Phattu comes. I think this signal means that Antara will have this big obstacle to get through before getting the true happiness, because this creep will not let her live in peace. And I fully believe now that Antara will be the first to find out what DM is and what she has done. That is what that signal means to me.

I swear this DM, she was hellbent on Raghu finding out, she doesn't want him to sleep peacefully, enjoying his bliss. Kaminiii, let him sleep with nice dreams of Miss Kaul at least one last time!!

Raghu, oh boy Raghu. Ayaz nailed it. Really nailed it. When he fell, he felt as if his life is snatched cruelly from him again. He was soo upset and was crying, holding his fist against his teeth, it was like his breathe was snatched from him. Fate has been soo cruel, really cruel to him. But don't worry Raghu, you are innocent, you didn't plan this, and you will know eventually, who was behind all this.
Gals, don't be upset! This is exciting, because this is what we signed up for when watching the promo, we were never going to get a simple romance, this is a romantic thriller and the biggest twist is yet to be reveal, as it is true in thrillers.

I mourn the end of innocent pure love of Raghu and Antara, because when Raghu Antara reunite they wont love like these cute young lovers caught in the first flush of romance, both of them will undergo trial by fire and will come out with deep burns and wounds and that love will be different.

There's a lot of significance in the show today, first of all Raghu's words to Satya, see the light, dont ever come between my love and Antara because I wont give you a second chance. R also warned Satya earlier that only he will finish this story. Satya's end is also predestined at R's hands. Infact the only reason R lives is because of R's affection for DM.
Coming to that , Satya also said some home truths to A,right now Raghu is too trusting of DM that he will even put DM above Antara and thats the only reason Satya lives. R therefore is going to lose A because he needs to break his bond with DM, Raghu will only be able to make Antara his, when he has no feelings for DM. Ironically Satya also says that not even his mother or God could have stopped him from killing R if the shoe was on the other foot. The master web weaver in DM has spun a nice web around herself, and got herself tangled in it. The one person she craves for and cares for will only want one thing, Antara and he will end up destroying himself to obtain her and in the process will destroy DM.

R's dialogue to Maama, that he has found his reason for living and I know everyone dreads that R is going to be the living corpse after the breakup but actually I think R will strive in whatever way possible to live for A. Raghu seems to be the type who keeps his promise and we know what Antara means to him, he will try in all ways possible to live for her.

R's pain, oh man Ayaz you killed me today, the way you emote with your eyes and every pain that you felt , it kind of resonated in my soul too. It sometimes bothers me how attached I have got to fictional characters that I want to take on their pain and bear it for them if possible.Every emotion, every feeling...ufff

For me also the doorbell, kind of signified a warning from her dad to Antara, you need to get this matter of Satya over with for a life of happiness with Raghu. One thing is for sure, Satya has to die, this character is way too psychotic, he will never leave R and A to live in peace.

I have enjoyed every moment of this first phase of romance between Raghu and Antara, I wish we had a bit more of the lighter moments of romance between them, because R and A are going to be different people when they reunite.

I will leave you all with something I wrote immediately after watching the epi on FB

Every cloud has a silver lining, every wound can be dressed, every hurt can be kissed away, for tomorrow will always come for bold bright lovers whose innocence is shed, for whom songs will be sung with tears in our eyes and yet hope resides in the heart of lovers and friends alike.

I want to start with some of the quotes of Rumi-

Put your thoughts to sleep, do not let them cast a shadow over the moon of your heart. Let go of thinking.

Why are you so enchanted by this world when a mine of gold lies within you?

You were born with wings. Why prefer to crawl through life?

For Raghu, there is nothing beyond these quotes that's more appropriate today.

I still remember that man who was so innocent to understand that why cakes are made always in the shape of pan ka patta, who used to go to take his shirt back in a girl's room at midnight and then asked her what's the matter?? Why is she so scared??', who got hurt to save the same girl and her little brother who were used to hate him at that time, who arranged the treatment of the mother of that same girl who always fought with him, humiliated him. Who arranged tuition for her little brother because that kid needed that for the better future though he himself didn't get the opportunity in his own childhood, and he did that without expecting anything in return. Who used to play MO every night to give someone a peaceful sleep, that also without revealing himself, without taking any credit. Who used to love his foster mother in such devotion that he wouldn't hesitate a single moment to die for her if it needed. The reason- she gave him (a balcony and a pillow to sleep in the name of )shelter, she gave him food (to generate the energy for doing only her work), she gave him clothes(but didn't bother to provide him education), she put her hand on his head(not to bless him but to water a plant which is going to give her shadow when acid rain would happen due to her own polluted karma ), she talks sweet only to stab him in his heart later. She doesn't want a son but a weapon, a ruthless stone made weapon who will trigger the bullet taking her permission only. In return of her shelter and name, she wants his breath, his heartbeat, his mind and his soul. But she is so late I think. His soul is already taken by someone else and someone else soul is within him. Her this lack of knowledge will lead her doom. The revenge that she is seeking from an innocent man who didn't even exist at the time when her heart was first broken, is going to fall on her back. Because for Raghu-

This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet.

Now as Antara is his soul mate-

When I am with You Everything is prayer.

And that prayer can't be interrupted now. If so, then the plant she watered, will stop growing and when that acid will burn her skin, he will NOT cover her. Because his prayer is his growth mediator, his sun who energizes him to live, to breath.

After today, Raghu will be the same man who loves to help everyone without thinking anything. But one thing will be lost within him; that is-His Innocence. His thinking everyone good just like him, his trusting on people so blindly, his self-satisfaction and his freedom of mind will be harmed. He will no longer be able to do anything confidently, he will feel burden for hiding something, he will fear of losing his love, he will think himself guilty of murdering someone, someone who was used to be everything for his love once. He needs some time to regain himself. By that time, he will have to bear a lot of pain, longing, separation and patience. But he will reach there and he will win!! Because he is honest, sincere, pure and righteous!!!

Today he lost his innocence. But it was needed. He has to start watching words behind the words, face behind the face, picture behind the picture. He will have to recognize his biggest enemy. He will have to know what is truth and what is mask. He has to open his 3rd eye to protect his love. His half soul is in it's most vulnerable condition today and after some days, his other half will also be bruised with the dagger of truth, feeling of betrayal!! But the former half has to be stronger enough to provide energy to the latter one. And for becoming that strong, he has to shed his innocence. Because for the present circumstances, his innocence is his biggest weakness.

Today Raghu's dialogue about killing Sattya was foreshadowing the future. Raghu-Mamaji interaction was very soothing for my eyes. It was needed to maintain the logic. Raghu- antara phone conversation almost took me on the verge of crying because their smile was reminding me the upcoming hatred of Antara that is going to pierce Raghu's heart in hundreds of pieces.

From their conversation, it seemed that Raghu has already planned about his wedding night and Antara became shy hearing about his late rising after SR. Their surname talks were so unique and Raghu agreed. He had no ego issue at all to use his wife's last name. he was so happy remembering that Antara is going to be a Mrs. Antara wanted to watch him even during his sleep. She told him to take that bed in the other side, I just hope that she also removes all those other things that will be going to hinder their togetherness in future. They talked for so long time. Antara's looonng list of post wedding plan never ended. Raghu loved her gundagardi!!! And that good night kiss!! She is still shy of kissing in phone. Guys did u notice; this was their last sweet, pure innocent balcony romance?? I will miss these two innocent lovers!!!

About Antara's wanting a signal from his father and Sattya coming after that, I think the symbolism is- Papa tried to warn his princess about this demon. He tried to say that, to get to your real love sweetheart, you have to get rid of this monster at first, otherwise you will never be able to happy.

Sattya tried to convey that he doesn't care about his mother, not even God; only he cares is her!!! I think ironically this was needed to be Raghu's mentality. But here is also his main weakness-his naivety, his trust, his righteousness, his devotion to his mother. His innocence is holding a curtain in front of his eyes which is becoming obstacle for him to see that reality!! I hope soon he will also echo the same sentence that Sattya told today. The only difference will be- Sattya told it to belittle Raghu's love for Antara and Raghu will say it to protect his other half!!

Ayaz nailed it in the last scene where he read that letter. His facial expression, his voice modulation and most importantly his eyes made me cry in that scene.👏⭐️ Unfortunately he is thinking himself murderer. But that's his character!!!

Sattya is totally out of hand. If really Sattya and Antara wedding happens, DM won't get enough time to know that what hit her. Sattya is already out of control. The crack in Naik Sadan is already visible. I don't want to think that what will happen when after wedding Sattya will see Raghu pinning for Antara even if she is married and what he will do when he will realize that she has already given her everything to Raghu and isn't comfortable with him at all. Akhsay is doing great job. He earned my respect. As much as I hate the character, I love the actor.👏

Sattya is a character which has been made larger than life, loathsome enough to be forgiven and beyond redemption. Neither he can be sidelined nor he can be shown as psychologically repaired person. So he has to die soon. I just hope, the upcoming track has been written very carefully because any breach in screenplay will harm the entire story now. It has come to the biggest turning point and the first chapter of this beautiful journey is gonna begin tomorrow after a very well turbulent prologue. So all the best to the whole team and specially Ayaz and Nikita to get us hooked to this far. Whatever happens from now, may be it will hurt us sometimes; but we will be together to witness a great journey of two star crossed lovers who will make the destiny to bent on their desire to be with each other and make their own heaven!!!

I want to finish with another quote of Rumi-

Oh soul,
you worry too much.
You have seen your own strength.
You have seen your own beauty.
You have seen your golden wings.
Of anything less,
why do you worry?
You are in truth
the soul, of the soul, of the soul.

I am seriously out of words . Don't shoot me but today I sincerely felt that Satya and Antara have a big chance of getting married in the future . I mean you saw that transition , when Satya gave Antara her dupatta , simultaneously DM gave Raghu the letter. Its like giving Raghu the ticket out of Antara's life while Satya gets a ticket into her life . Also what Satya said about him not caring whether DM or God itself would stand against her , he wouldn't care but Raghu would , is also true . That is exactly why Rantara's story is so difficult and problematic . Not only Raghu ends up being the killer of his girlfriend's dad , but he himself is so immersed into the profession that DM shaped up for him since childhood , that nothing , including Antara is big enough than that for him YET. I don't know if it has completely sunk inside him that he was manipulated by Aman , because more than anything right now he needs a confrontation with Aman to understand that DM sent him to Srinagar for a reason . Raghu was the hired conman to kill the man Aman wanted and DM helped ,by giving Aman her right hand , her best putla in stock. Satya never had to face half of the complications that Raghu did .I mean first your mom is sick, your dad probably was a drunkard , you stole money to save your mom's life but ended up in jail while your mom died . You stranded around the streets till Daya Maai took you in and saw potential in you in every angle and decided to shape you up as an instrument that would do all her dirty work , making you do everything by giving you the picture of providing you a home , care , love and motherhood and all that crap . You were just a robot being channelized by everybody's hands despite everybody around you loving you. Satya never had to go through that , cause Satya was useless compared to the skill that Raghu had despite no education and literacy . So of course it would be easy for Satya to stand against DM for Antara cause DM has never really shown her love for him , in front of him. But had he been through half of the things Raghu has or was even half socialized and brainwashed into the mind game dynamics of DM , forget to the extent of brainwashing that has been used over Raghu , then he would have not had the guts to protest in the first place. But from Antara's point of view , what Satya said is worth pondering upon . Cause she somewhere knows that Raghu will do anything but not go against DM for the world , including her. That will of course , change in the future . Yesterday's episode had me baffled even more than today's , the way DM was smiling and floating in sadistic joy while re-reading Aman's letter to Raghu for the first time gave me this sickening feeling inside my chest. I never felt so sickened before , I don't know why. And you know what , what I feel the most horrid about is DM does not have the ability to love anyone , cause anyone who she supposedly loves , is there in her life for her own benefit . If only she knew , that its not love , its manipulation . But for her manipulation is love , using people for your own profit and damaging them for life for your own benefit is love . In a way I am glad that Satya was not as bright as Raghu , for the first time I wish Raghu was not so street smart. This trait literally became his enemy . The most observant thing I saw regarding yesterday was the entire sequence of DM-Rantara-Satya . I found it so interesting the way Rantara were hugging - as if they are literally do dil ek jaan - while DM is smiling at the entire spectacle she has woven and Satya is giving the sort of psychotic expression towards them that makes you genuinely feel bad for him , and yet they kept on hugging . No matter how much of the negative characters were stranding past and around , their embrace did not break - this is a prime foreshadowing for the future track . This signifies that no matter what happens in the future in the form of DM and Satya , whether Antara and Raghu like it or not , they will still symbolically stay the way that long hug was portrayed - as one body , one soul . There is a reason why that hug was so long . Also another significant point I love was when the basti crowd was cheering , and Rantara were hugging and everyone was chiming , singing and laughing in joy , DM especially the position she was standing in , seemed like she is on a pedestal above them , watching all the psuedo happiness she has created for her entire kingdom , as if the ruthless grim boss is smiling down at his circus ,that is made , mastered and weaved by manipulation.

It was like the ring master staring and smiling at his own circus , happy about his job , as his circus animals and people , who are the basti people ,Satya and Rantara here , are going to do exactly what he has planned. Today , another thing I loved was Mamaji . He is very much right in his stance , and Antara who at one point used to fight against goons , is too blind in love to see where her Mama is coming from. He is right about Raghu being a gunda , which he was engineered to be. I wish Mamaji had the guts to tell him when he said I do illegal stuff for the bastis good , that not only you are brainwashed , you are programmed like a robot to be a goon to do somebody else's dirty work which you are programmed to believe is right if it does people good . You are not going to earn any money by destroying property or showing your power like you used to in the past . Since , thats how Mamaji remembers him as . I wish Mamaji would also tell him that , you are not educated , you cannot earn your own bread and butter , you are a dependent man whose entire life' s aim is to be enslaved by someone else . How can I give you my daughter? This is what Mamaji should've told him , cause at least for some time Raghu would have at least opened his eyes and would have gone through a required amount of introspection . I understand why Mamaji felt that his opinion has no importance . It would be more realistic if Mamaji were more stubborn about his predicament , but that is not exactly in his character so I understand . One more thing , was when Antara today was talking to her dad , and telling her to give her a sign regarding Raghu , God sends Satya as a signal instead. That should be enough to scare all of us . Moreover , it was a sickening irony when Antara was telling her dad that she knows he loves Raghu , I could almost hear Doctor Kaul saying , and chuckling , chalo tumhaare liye mein apne khooni ko bhi maaf kar deta hoon . Shayad woh bura nahi hai lekin usne mujhe tum logon se door kiya hai , toh woh buraai kaafi hai . Raghu's breakdown in the end was not shown properly and completely so I think we will see it entirely tomorrow.
