No i noticed it too, infact I think they were trying to contrast Raghu and Antara's backgrounds, Raghu though they have a lot of money comes from a lower middle class background, so the so called sophistications of the world is not really his cup of "tea"(yes I am punning) whereas Antara comes from a more upper class background though in a bad period, Some small nice touches from the writer.

A couple of more observations from my side, I don't know if I read it right
1. Raghu was almost very seductive in the way he stalked Antara(he reminded me of a lion stalking a deer for lunch) before he turned on 10,000 wala firecracker temper on
2.The way he went and stood near his jeep, almost in the exact same spot where Antara stood and reflected on Raghu's painful words before she went to get the prescription, a kind of symphony or rather trying to walk in her shoes...

One more thing, he kept wanting her to react, he asked her twice you have nothing to say and then he called her Miss Kaul, so the affection is there somewhere on the surface, he just needs a jhatka to bring it out😆,c'mon Antara ignore him to hell and high water, that should do the trick😆

Even I felt there was contrast there in their upbringing and background.
In their body languague and way of speaking that upbringing is pretty evident too. Like Antara speak in sophisticated language specially to elders. The way she use Namaste...m Aap aapna khayal rakhiyega..whereas Raghu languague is raw with everyone...specially with ANtara...

I felt too scene was symbolic there...Raghu was trying to feel pain he has given to her..

Yeah it is and that's why while I cant really excuse his behaviour with Antara, I cannot fault the writers because his character is pretty realistic, someone from his background would exactly be like that.
I have a bit more problem with Antara taking all his abuse because from what her character was established in the beginning to actually stand there and take such vitriol from him is kind of surprising. But I am willing to give the writers the benefit of doubt this week because Antara's guilt on hurting him plus not wanting to jeopardise her job and her mom's treatment is probably playing on her mind. But I hope Antara takes a stand at some point.

Raghu is not a bad guy, his heart is in the right place but he's the kind of character who does not believe "an eye for an eye will make the whole world go blind" philosophy. He's hurting and he's hurting because its her, if it was anyone else they would be dead by now but with her, the only way he can retaliate is by giving her the same pain he has undergone and yet inflicts more pain on himself by hurting her...what tangled webs we weave as human beings.

Sorry for the rambling, I am in a very analytical mood today.

Actually I felt Raghu is pretty much in character. He is volatile you said in other post . Given he is on extreme side of his anger, he never cared for Antara or his family before. At that point she just said few words on his gairat, slapped him in front of everyone or insulted him. His reactions were seriously drastic then.
This time Antra did drastic than before remind him of his most deep wounds. I dont think his anger is as drastic as it was then. He is way too mellowed down for ANtara...given it was anyone elsde he would be dead by now. He is not sophisticated business tycoon here he is actually a Gunda. His body anger, attitude and his words signifies it.
There is bit of MU too created by AAji. How would he know that AAJi know about slap and sorry thing when it was known to 3 person. He assumed it was Antara because he probaly trust Mach mach.
His words were damn abusive but thats in his character. When was he all decent nice guy in anger...

FOr Antara, I too dont want this type of behavior as normal course. I hope she come back from this guilt trip and show Raghu what she is.

For both I dont want their love story of abuser and abused , I have seen enough of that crap

Situation might have effected their characters , but that should not be permanent distortion and it should not become regular trend . Antra has to get back fire back and Raghu his softy heart back...
