Raghu does not know Sumi planned this with Maya. Maya brings tickets for the so-called newly weds. Sumi and the family have been told by Raghu that Shivani is fine now. And Sumi is just acting the part of a happy bahu.

It has not been shown in the show that Raghu realized Sumi's true face at this point of time.

The onus was on Raghu to object to the HM not her. Who knows, if Shivani was well , Raghu may have agreed to go with Sumi for a fake outing , just to put some distance between him and Shi.

The slap did not happen becoz of this , but becoz of the mean things she said about Shivani.

Everything has a trigger point to b honest and here I felt Shivani's illness followed by HM tickets was the trigger point which bottled up Raghu's anger and frustration ... later Sumi's words just made sure his anger finally bursts out in open and so the result is slap .. or else he might hv not gone for the slap at all ...


And yes Raghu dint know Sumi planned it but Raghu does know that Sumi is supporting him in making Shivani's life good... so it was insensitive to actually think of HM during a time when her marriage just broke ... so when he got the HM tickets , his first reaction was to look at Sumi first and all he could see is Sumi blushing instead of looking worried ... that bottled up his anger more and then he tears it ... if Sumi too looked disturbed or embarassed with the HM tickets , then Raghu might hv not gone the extreme too ...

If Raghu came to know about Sumi's true face... all that Sumi has done to physically harm Babyji.. then he would have definitely strangled her..😲

It was Sumitra, who locked Shivani alone in the house before picnic..was more worried about her ruined picnic when Shivani fell down the cliff..😲. greased a big boiling pot of water and made sure Babyji would pick it up 😡. on top of it she put chilli powder in the medicine for the burnt feet..😡

Just the other day, Sumitra threw a heavy pot from the first floor window onto Shivani's head.. if Raghu hadn't pulled her aside, it would have hit Shivani, her head would have split open like a melon.. 😲

I think a slap is well justified.. . 👏.. if Sumitra can do all of the above due to anger and jealousy, then Raghu too can slap her in anger...
