I don't think I felt bad but I can understand both of their views.
Bella's is right that Shivani and Raghu are married therefore she should respect all the customs that come with it. When Raghu and Shivani came back to his house they gave the impression to the family that they were going to stay together until the divorce so in front of society she should respect the customs . It's her brother and I think her and Raghu are close and she doesn't want any bad thought about him.
But in Shivani's mind she doesn't think of Raghu's as her husband it was a marriage of circumstance and at the present it is fake. Therefore these symbols don't mean anything to her currently, once she accepts Raghu as her husband she will wholeheartedly keep all the rituals of a wife.
In my opinion Since Rashi have decided to stay together and not dissolve the marriage in front of society they should keep up appearances. I just want the CV's now to show Shivani's slow growth, instead of showing her naivete all the time.
