Chapter 11------Jass and Mahima Knows...Shivani clung to Raghu as if he was a lifeline. Images flashed across her mind. She remembered the look of fear in daaju's eyes when Abhi had held her at gun point. Then she remembered her dashing hero coming to her rescue. The look on Raghu's face would have stopped the deadliest of killers. Abhi stood no chance against him. She hugged him tightier. Raghu sensed that she was thinking about the incident and saught to reassure her.
"I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. I will protect you."
Raghu felt his heart would explode. Such was the intensity of his feelings for her...
Daaju came back and informed them that Abhi had evade the cops. Raghu felt Shivani tense up in his arms. He could only guess what turmoil was going on in her mind...
"I will protect you!" he vowed.
Daaju echoed the same sentiments of Raghu.
"Shivani dear, as long as I am alive, i will never let any harm come to you. Please forgive me once again for bringing that monster Abhi into the house..."
Shivani walked over to daaju and hugged him. She didn't want him to feel guilty.
"Daaju, never apologize to as you are my elder. and please don't feel guilty. It's not your fault. You had no way of knowing what Abhi's true colours were."
"Shivani i almost got you married to him!" Dajju broke down in sobs.
"But you didn't get me married to him daaju. You're going to get me married to the man i love, and he's standing right over there."
She made eye contact with raghu and they both smiled.
Daaju didn't miss this.
"Ok you two, enough. Raghu please go and tell your parents that i will be there shortly with Shivani's marriage proposal. Anf raghu, you did well today son. If any thing was to happen to me, i will be at easy knowing that Shivani would be well taken care of..."
Raghu nodded. "I will protect her with my life." With that he turned and left yet again to give the good news to his family. He thought that the Gods were smiling down on him...
Shivani watched him leaving. She loved him so. She was going to get married to him soon...
At that moment her brother, Jass and his wife Mahima came home. They sensed that all was not right. Jass asked what was going on as he saw a huge smile plastered on his sister's face. He thought that daaju had gifted her another rediculously expensive gift.
"Ok sis, what has daaju,gifted you this time?" he was totally unaware that Abhi had held her at gunpoint...
Shivani ran to Jass,"Oh Jass, daaju has given me the best gift of my life. I am getting married!"
Jass was shocked but quickly smiled and congratulated her. "So who is the lucky man? do i know him?
"Jass, I love him so much... I can't wait to be his wife. He completes me."
Mahima came and hugged her,"But you haven't told us who he is."
"Oh Bharbi, i'm so excited. i feel like i've been given all the happiness in the world. he's none other than raghu..."
The blood drained from Jass and Mahima's faces...
