the plot would be much better if sandy go for mission, then go missing and suraj looks for her... but they screwed it up with fake death, make suraj weak, bring a new character who makes us wonder sandy's role as a wife of suraj...

As for your software engineer analogy, I'm a business analyst and here's my response - at the time of project delivery, the engineer needs to sacrifice family time and ensure that the company doesn't run into losses because of his personal life events but before going to support the go live, he needs to make sure his family is well prepared. For example, if he is a single parent with a 6 months old baby at home, he cannot leave the baby alone at home to work for his company! He needs to make sure he has arranged for a reliable family person/friend or babysitter to look after the baby when he is gone! 😃

I watch this show for Sandhya. But this time Sandhya is very wrong. If Suraj would know, he would handle Ved, during this tough time.
Suraj is such a person, he would keep this secrete mission strictly confidential.

Secondly , Sandhya did write a letter for Suraj before leaving ..if not a proper one Im sure there would be a hint there, because she did say that after reading the letter suraj will understand her point of view.Sandhya also asked for the promise that no matter how much time she takes Suraj will wait for her.. isnt it a big hint again? Im sure if Suraj was normal he cud have concluded it all.

Above all, both suraj and sandhya are deeply in love...so theres no room for a new person entering into their life.

Leaving all these things aside..I have one more point ...See, suraj prefered family over sandhya after hijack and gave her a heart break ..now sandhya prefered country over family (but rathi family is a part of this country also, so she is working for the safety of both family and country) ..Surya are on the same boat now..😛 , even then they are ready to accept each other because love is very strong...
