Wearing Sarees and so much jewellery and make-up hoes against the initial Sandhya(before she got married).

I too feel that Sandhya is extremely obstinate. When she has catered to so many unreasonable demands of Bhabho, why can't she change her ways for 11 months? She is there for training. Is Sari not very inconvenient? Can't she wear Simple Jeans or even Salwar or something? What if she had to go for some work suddenly. Can she do kick-boxing in Sari? Is it not very time-consuming?

Why can't she just focus on her goal? I also wish she'd stop getting so preachy. This is where the dialogue writers can't resist.

Exactly. That is why I had started watching DABH originally. Now I feel so disappointed in Sandhya's character.

i think people are seeing sandy as a machine...when she is at training she must forget family and vice versa...that's not possible...and i think if they show sandy as IPS officer focusing on work leaving family behind as you have defined above, not many will encourage their daughters to become one or get married to them...wouldnt that be a wrong message too?

First of all, I do not sympathize with Sandhya at all. She is not the only one who has to work hard at tough unfamiliar tasks, not the only one with a family and personal problems. People who win have to defeat all odds. It is difficult, yes but is 11-months of concentration too much to ask for.

She does not need to forget her husband at all. She can share all her problems with Suraj but in training she should give it her undivided attention. Otherwise she will not do any justice to this opportunity. This is I guess what the TM has said.

I honestly think had it been a wise parent they would have encouraged her to put in her best, not take a promise that she'd win some trophy which is like putting a burden on someone.

All cadets come from different backgrounds so I don't think its logical comparing them all .. Roma is a spinster , Im sure her parents would be much more liberal than Bhabo , Males like Rahul , Zakir and others too have parents but they are not married , they are very much independent and focused .
After her parents death Sandhya has found a new family in Rathi house , she didnt know what love is but now totally is in love with Suraj , its because of him she is here in the training academy otherwise a traditional woman like Bhabo would have never allowed her to become an IPS. I would definately be more sympatheic towards her , she felt really down thinking she has to seperate from her husband for 11 months .she came out of it slowly and surely becoming an IPS is her dream thats is why she is in the training academy.. Despite back pain she was determined to complete the task ..She knows her weaknesses well and will try hard to emerge as a winner in the end. I dont really think Bhabo has put any pressure on her , infact Bhabo has high expectations from her as she knows Sandhya has been winning througout , this time she expects all that again.

Please, please, look into an English dictionary and find the meaning of the word "spinster".

A spinster, or old maid, is an older, childless woman who has never been married. A "spinster" is not simply a "single" woman, but a woman who has not formed a human pair bond by the time she is approaching or has reached menopause and the end of her reproductive lifespan.

For a woman to be identified as a spinster, age is critical. "If someone is a spinster, by implication she is not eligible [to marry]; she has had her chance, and been passed by.

Roma doesn't look like she is in her 50s... 🤣

She is a young girl, who will be a great IPS officer and surely will find a good husband - she has many years for that :).

@sonali Sandhya's baggage is Bhabo . That trophy is for the best cadet , not for best bahu. Bhabo is the one who is creating whole confusion in her. Seperated from husband( He was her support on all Bhabo AD, EA) and need to fulfill Bhabo's order of that trophy. Fear of failure what will happen if she doesnt win the trophy. Will she lose Sooraj. What will Bhabo do if she doesnt win the trophy. What will be Sooraj's options and what will he choose. All these are difficult questions for Sandhya as a woman as she loves Sooraj very much. She can have IPS only with Sooraj. That fear of failure need to go from her. She needs to ahve confidence even if she fail Sooraj will be there for her. Once she gets that confidence she will bounce back and no one can stop her.

Spinster meaning:
1. A woman who has remained single beyond the conventional age of marrying .
2. A single woman or girl
3.A woman whose occupation is spinning

The word spinster has 3 meanings and this word can be used for all the ladies I have mentioned above .. 😆😆😆

As far as Roma is concerned , She is a young single girl ...this word spinster is appropriate for her as well considering all the 3 meanings .

"spinster" is an old-fashioned offensive word nowadays. I'd prefer that women were not offended in this forum. Nobody says "spinster" when someone wants to describe a young, single woman. I've heard this word used only as an offensive word and only for single ladies from 45 years old up and that was some 15 years ago.

According to you the word '' spinster '' has only one meaning , I explained that the word spinster has three meanings , I made my point very clear that If I used it for Roma its very much appropriate.
We were not discussing whether this word is offensive and old fashioned 😕 , you are making it look like as we were talking about something else in the previous post just because you dont want to admit what you said was wrong , which is very silly.
Also don't you have a good knowledge of your own ? why do u have to give me links of the searches you have done ?😲
I mean its pretty obvious where and when to use a word if u know the meaning of it , but maybe you know only one meaning thats why a bit confused ..
