Thank you again for your feedback. I do not know whether you are a Hindu or not but I would like to site two examples from Mahabharat .You must be knowing them if you are a Hindu. The killing of Dronacharya and Karna were both done treacherously. Lord Krishna at that time persuaded the Pandavas to do it saying for victory over wrong or evil all means are justified. Our Hindu culture is based on the teachings of Gita. If God justified wrong for larger right why can't it apply to Rathi household. Are we not taught from childhood to emulate our texts. Why are we assuming that the onus of doing right is only with Suraj. Till now Suraj has been an epitome of virtues. He is the only one who has total faith in his mother. He has been pleading with her. Appealed to her good sense. She instead of giving him a hearing emotionally blackmailed her Beendani to convince her son. Are we to apply moral standards only to children not parents. I agree with you they are old and we must not hurt them.Did Bhabo even think once how much pain she is causing her son by refusing. Suraj is no doubt very sweet and positive but everybody around has started taking advantage of his goodness and somewhere he has to put his foot down. This is purely my take on things. I know you have a different opinion on this and I respect you for that. Different points of view makes my vision clearer.
@bold: That would be harsh. I hope Suraj does not hint such. He can say that he has done everything he can for all the members of the family, then why not for Sandhya.
