surely dont want to be in soorajs shoes poor guy is getting totally frustrated by the two women he loves the most this really is his fight for his wife we always wanted him to stand up for sandy and he is doing that perfectly now .

bhabo in her heart of heart knows she is doing wrong but for the sake of her beliefs she has turned totally manipulative😡

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I think it will be Suraj hurricane which will hit the Rathi mansion and this is going to be a lonely battle for our chora.

Anyway my view is that if Suraj stays in the dukaan or throw tantrums thenconly he will be able to convince Bhabo and Sandhya in a single stroke.

Nice thought Saibal .A sullen Suraj will have an impact but I somehow feel this will be Suraj's lonely battle. Sandhya will not be there with him. It is the same as WTC where Suraj did not support Sandhya and she fought alone with Bhabasa helping her a bit.

Ab paani sir ke upar ja chuka hai...Suraj has to put his foot down in whatever way he thinks will be in the best interest of every family member...I have full trust in him...

but it is really sad that even today the harsh reality in India is that leave alone the uneducated, the well educated in-laws also still have a double faced personality for their DIL's...

Very true Preeti. It is sad but true that 60% of India lives like this and we are helpless in the face of traditional attack. The Khap panchayats in Haryana and UP have started imposing restrictions on the movement of women. Instead of progressing we are going back. Bhabo is only representing the greater malaise that afflicts our society. I totally agree with you now Suraj has to do what he has to do. He has to fight back. Being sweet is no longer an option.

Thank you Bharatiji for your inputs. We all have to wait and watch. Hope it does not turn into an ugly battle. Suraj's positive approach till now has not yielded any results. His blind faith in his mother has not melted Bhabo. Even if it is in a subtle way I would like him to say to his mother that as he could not educate himself it would give him immense satisfaction if his wife is allowed to continue her studies. He will get the same happiness that he would have got had he studied. It will be an interesting wait for all of us.Keeping my fingers crossed.
