Asking DIL / WIFE to leave home or throw her out of the house is considered as bigger violance than physical abuse. Some1 can file a complaint even if they are asked to do so. So all that you want is Meena to stay in Rathi house continuing her abberational deeds and others all suffering expecting her to change some day, is it??? Meena should be punished for every single mistake she did, not to take revenge on her deeds, but to make her realise her mistakes and improve herself. I will support whatever done with this intension coz the final result will be good. I cant 4get how Sandhya suffered all these days only coz of Meena!

A huge No ...
Cvz have to feel shame on themselves for showing beating on Women ,
A big No to the Slappings that they show on Meena , If u are Uncomfortable with her deeds and in No way intrested to continue a Wife / Bahu Releation Just Say to leave House , ..
If u want her Realisation , put her out of Family for some days maintain Distance , the pain of Distance with thys Spouse surely makes a man Realised ..
But giving Slappings is No way Justifyable thou she did Blunders , they have to come up with a concept that increses Maturity to Normal People ...
They have to be ashame on themselves ..
They are Showing completely Wrong Treatment ... Domestic Voilece is not Supportable on any Regard on any Situation of Life ..

Vikram has slapped Meena before right? Its meena's fault for putting up with it she totally dismisses the slaps because she thinks he just doing it to show bhabo hes in control. If Meena isn't going to stick up for herself then Vikram is just going to continue to slap her. I don't like how Meena just sits and takes the slap it gives the indiaction to the audience its ok to slap women because the woman herself doesn't consider it serious enough and brushes it a aside like it was nothing.

I am disappointed and shocked how many women, educated smart clever women,in the forum itself think what's happening to meena is in some way ok ... This is how the domestic violence cycle is perpetrated : Women themselves think that they themselves deserve it or brought it on themselves and that certain other women cannot be "corrected" except through slaps and beatings... It just shows how deep this deception is entrenched in the minds of society and women... Where does this "correction" begin and end?... Beatings ok if you lie and send people to jail?...beatings ok if you lie more than 2 times a week?...beatings ok if you had a bad day and the nagging was getting on your nerves?...beatings ok if the food wasn't just the way you liked it?... Is there some sliding scale when beatings for "correction" becomes acceptable?

Meena is wrong, no doubts there, but that doesnt make hitting her right... Vikram has no right to hit her... Even if Vikram was as morally upright and pure as Suraj or has the moral high ground, he cannot hit her... Call the police if you want, but it is not acceptable to hit her... I'm not even sure she can be asked to get out of the house because it's her house too...

I am aware that domestic violence is a problem the world over but at least I'm sure of 1 thing : It is wrong. It may happen commonly, the woman may have acted badly but no one can say " she made me do it" " she deserved it" and transfer blame... Every person is accountable for their own actions, no one can "make" anyone behave badly unless they agree to behave badly... women may forgive and forget but the fact remains it is still wrong...Please don't justify it to make it seem that she invited it or she deserved it and hence it is acceptable!... This lie runs so deep now that a top rated show in India thinks this form of 'correction' is ok...they probably expect us as the audience to whistle and cheer as meena is hit...but reading this thread it looks like they werent far wrong!

If Meena isn't going to stick up for herself then Vikram is just going to continue to slap her. This is a Cheap trick they followed to save themselves immediately

I don't like how Meena just sits and takes the slap it gives the indiaction to the audience its ok to slap women because the woman herself doesn't consider it seriousenough and brushes it a aside like it was nothing.

Firstly i would like 2 say the Slap on Women itself is highly Offendable , coming to Meena seriousness , She knew she did Mistake and that was revealed now with proofs , After everything got revealed to everyone if she goes for a seriousness on the slap , then she will not at all considered as a woman who is getting regretted for her Deeds , the other thing if she goes serious she has to loose her Respect as Woman , coz rathis dont deserve her hitting dialouges , it is she who made evil plans in family togethernes , She will necked out or thrown out if she goes Offendable . Its her karma , and she has to accept it to leave house if they say to go out , but I again Say they should have made this shot without Domestic Voilence on Meena

Please dont misunderstand me. I am not supporting domestic violance. But I want 2 see a positive change in Meenakshi. A punishment doesnt mean physical abuse only. It can also be behaving in the most generous way with the culprit and that may make her mind to think about her mistakes and genuinely remorse about them. That is the best way! I believe punishments are given to realise mistakes, not to abuse physically or mentally. Now you all suggest a solution 4 Meena 2 realise & rectify her mistakes. That is better.

I can't say that the show-makers support domestic violence, everytime there is domestic violence of any sort, there is either one of the show's protagonists who are there to stop it.Now it was Suraj, before it was Sandhya. But opposition to "this" is shown clearly.Sandhya even dares to stop "Maasa" from physical violence in a completely village like scenario and at the end Maasa is even shown to learn from her mistakes and avoid physical violence. Even Bhabo seems to learning this. The last time, Meena was caught she was slapped by Bhabo, but this time Bhabo herself didn't indulge in any kind of physical violence.

Vikram does it becuase it's his nature to express either false or even real anger violently and that's mostly because,he himself is not pure enough to think and act with a cool mind. Meena is okay with it most of the times because she knows he is doing that to save both of them. But then there are characters in the house who are completely against it and believe in sorting out thinks in a better way. The show is just highlighting both the sides of people's character.

There is another thing that Meena deserves every bit of whatever is being met out to her. If "slapping" her is termed as domestic violence, what would you call the entire incident of "sending Bhabo to jail with a wrong complaint and going ahead and putting the entire blame of Sandhya" ? It's not about domestic violence or anything being shown against a "WOMAN". It's about punishing the wrong-doer, be it a "MAN" or a "WOMAN". Some people are so crooked that it requires more than words to get them into the right-track.

The only complaint I've with the CV's is that Vikram too deserved some kind of punishment.I am still under the hope that he gets his share too since Bhabo is still in the process of exposing Meena and Vikram's turn is not far away.It would be sad to see Meena bearing the burnt of both their mistakes since she has always had Vik's support in everything except sending Bhabo to jail. Or maybe he gets away this time since it is human nature to forget about the past and less severe issues and concentrate on the most important one. Waiting to see the CV's take on Vikram. Would be interesting.
