The Reason

I can't help but wonder what must be Rakshit's reason for keeping mum when Lavanya opens her mouth to say everything that she shouldn't.

I can't help but wonder what must be Rakshit's reason for allowing her hands to roam all over him despite clearly being aware of her intentions that are wrong.

I can't help but wonder what must his reason for even entertaining Lavanya.

Whatever the reason must be, but it is absolutely disappointing to watch considering the extent to which Mr. Shergill gets angry+jealous+annoyed when Mrs. Shergill just has a conversation with Shikhar.

PS: The foremost reason for creating this thread is, it has been almost 2 and a half months to the show and our forum has just 15 pages. Thought of contributing a little to it. 😆

whats all the more frustrating is that when drishti was even mildly comfortable and friendly with shikhar then rakshit couldn't deal with it! then his hyper masculine antennas rose and blamed her......he made absolutely zero efforts to push lavanya away when she was constantly grabbing him!

Rakshit shouldn't even allow Lavanya to get close to him given how she left him on the day of their wedding saying she doesn't care!😡 And to our utter surprise, he lets her get so close, touch him, caress him yuck!🤢 I literally want to throw all my joota chappal at Lavanya's face when she starts going in her seductive despo mode going all "baby Rakshit" touching him all over.🤬 YUCK! I hate to see that and wonder why does rakshit even allow it?

He should ask her to keep distance at least for the sake of his younger brother whose wife she is, but alas Rakshit seems to enjoy her attention or what? 😡grrrr!

The way you started it off It seemed like you were writing some poetry glorifying their behaviour 😲😆 I was reading and thinking what is Harshu upto?

Lav just comes across as sick. She's openly declared what she wants. She's not ashamed to make moves in front of his brother 🤢.

If R is only being 'respectful' then why the guilty expressions when chachi and Sh entered the two times. He CLEARLY knows it's wrong. So why is he tip toeing around fixing this wrong to right?

I don't want Dri to do ANYTHING. He's making his own bed - let him lie in it whilst Lav dribbles over him!🤢🤣

Absolutely but with Shikhar, I feel it was more the jealousy and less anger. He couldn't stand seeing the woman getting all lovely with his brother when she hardly talked anything casually to him. The fact that she was comfortable around Shikhar and not him is what messed up his mind I think. Probably deep down, he wanted her to be comfortable around only him if I can justify him with it. ☺️😆

I have said this yesterday in EDT and I don't mind repeating it a hundred more times. I am not disappointed/angry with Lavanya for the earlier bed room scene (during the party scene) and for the yesterday's scene. Nah, she isn't capable of disappointing me because I don't expect anything good from her. She is being herself. That's how she is, we all know it but is that how Rakshit is the way he is around Lavanya these days? Even in the Holi episode, she went all over him, grabbing his hand, making him out color on her. Couldn't he have backed off and avoided it all if he wanted to? But he didn't.

I am not saying he is into Lavanya or something but the way he is allowing her to get her hands on him is just not acceptable, certainly not after he has given gyan to his wife about ek rishta kaise nibhta hai. I don't get this thing, that despite knowing she married Sunny just to be close to Rakshit, how is he so calm and cool about it!

She can be a seductress to him, touch him, caress him (😔) because he allows her to be. I so dislike accepting it but it is him because of whom we have to witness such scenes.

No, I don't think he enjoys it but God, it doesn't even get him uncomfortable. In earlier days, when he wasn't married, it was alright but now that he is married to someone else, goes crazy when he sees his wife happy and comfortable with someone else, gets upset with her for not initiating to make their relation work... and he LET'S Lavanya get her hands all over him and he sits there unaffected. This isn't his character, is this?

Uncaring of his wife who has started meaning a lot to him.

Has his heart started to feel for the girl who left him an hour before their wedding,

Has he fallen for her forgetting all the moments that he had with his wife's earrings?🤣

Till now I've never been annoyed with Rakshit, disappointed yes when he manhandled Dri in the study b4 his marriage but never been annoyed. But yesterday more than Lav I was annoyed with Rakshit.

What the hell was that? One can be respectful yet be firm. Rakshit was anything but firm with Lav. He was quick to judge Dri for her midnight meet with Shi, (though I understood from where he was coming), but when it comes to himself he doesn't do a thing. People like Lav are chipku. They don't understand polite language and needs to dealt firmly with. Holi pe bhi Dri had to intervene.

And who's Lav to question Ra about hubby/wifey relation between Drikshit. Mann I felt like slapping her and then I realized I should have given a whack to Ra for letting her get away with this. I'm telling you, this laxity on Rakshit's part with Lav will come back to bite him.

Like I said in the reply to Sofna, it is okay if he is being respectful and cannot push away Lavanya. But CAN HE HIMSELF NOT BACK OFF/LEAVE THE ROOM/GIVE HER SOME GYAN ABOUT RISHTA LIKE HE GAVE TO HIS WIFE DURING THE STAIR SCENE?

Seriously! I am so irked with this husband wife relation thing. How can Rakshit even listen to this garbage and let her get away with it?
