I have climbed highest mountains
I have run through the fields
Only to be with you
I have run
I have crawled
I have scaled these city walls
Only to be with you
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
I have spoke with the tongues of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for
I believe in the Kingdom Come
When all the colors will bleed into one
Bleed into one
Well, yes I'm still running
You broke the bonds
And you loosened the chains
Carried the cross
Of all my shame
You know I believe it
But I still haven't found what I'm looking for

It is a strange world. It comes around a full circle in the least expected manner possible. Recall a shopping spree, where you spot the ideal outfit on your first stop, but choose not to buy it. The thought, the curiosity that there may exist a better one elsewhere sends you on a wild goose chase across town before you return to that first stop again and bow down before fate that placed the outfit in the line of your gaze right at the start. The need to explore viable options in this world of plentitude spills over even in romance.
A flurry of reactions over the new promos…A spurt of questions plague us faithful viewers. Jealousy seems to be the popular opinion. Ms. Armaan Type and Dr. Ridhima Right are the people of the hour…elevated to levels of fame they probably never imagined their marginal roles would fetch them. Little did they know that our obsession with the lead pair spills over to any possible obstacle we may see in the path of their togetherness, something we yearn for whole heartedly!
My theory may be totally annihilated by the Creatives, if they indeed choose to assign the more juvenile track of jealousy to these new entrants. But what if, just what if, neither Ms. Type nor Dr. Right are to kindle the fires of envy in Ridhima or Armaan. What if they are just meaningless faces in a sea of many for them to try their luck with, before the realization dawns on either that flawed or otherwise, they are made for each other. The search for the perfect mate has to endure the trails and tribulations of separation and experimentation. Mirrored in the relationship with others, they will see the reality of their feelings for each other.
More often than not, we crave and desire attributes that we believe are ideal in our partner. The idyllic model of perfection we carry in our minds may never strum at the strings of our heart. More often than not, our perceived expectations are erroneous and no amount of external persuasion could convince us otherwise. The consciousness of the subconscious (I like that) has to be a process of painful introspection based on empirical experiments, even if it concerns love.
So go ahead Armaan and Ridhima, try your luck with Ms. Type and Dr. Right. They may seem to possess all that you have desired in your ideal mate, but remember that ideal is not always right and you, existentially trapped in the script of our Creatives, will realize the aptness of the other for you through your attempted romance with your wild oats…sow them free, sow them wild…you will see not a leaf sprout from either. And in their antithetical personas you will not just realize what you are looking for, you will also find yourself! And on that note…
Playing with ideas
Toying with ambition
Sometimes people too.
Experiencing…
Nothing much to do
Besides try
At what?
I don't know.
