@Aarti : Totally agree with ya...on your response to Notty and isnt this more on the same lines we discussed in the afternoon about Ridhima's throne of moral superiority being shaken only by Armaan at the moment and hence her immediate reaction to prove to herself that all is fine and erase away any sense of self doubt that must have creeped in... and not to forget ... to also prove to the man , to the mortal who dare to even question her sense of moral ... that her sense of morality is unquestionable and immaculate.. if I use that word really!
And I liked the bit about Ridhima finding herself incapable of responding to the basic signs of attraction, coz she is too clouded with that sense of pride being challenged..really! Aaah... hmm.... you've really got me thinking there... super point ....!!
*Edit after reading response to Gina*
I too have wondered , that if one is really genuinely helping one... what is the need to scream about it from the roof tops as many of these social activists do? What drives this kind of action? Sense of Pride again.. a need to feel great about self and for teh world to sing praises in their honor.. while they fan their pride with the praises? Oh dear... what a deplorable thought... leaves a sick feeling in the stomach... as thoughts wander to those unfortunate few who believe they are being really attended to ... and being cared for , by these hollow hearted mortals... feeding off on the sympathy for the lower mortals and fanning their self pride...!
