It is such a lighthearted and at the same time sensitive approach. Kudos to you for that. You got it just right.

"Special Dedication: To Gina, with whom I was in conversation with , when the idea struck me and its been a pleasure and a absolute laugh riot , sharing the experience of making this mix with her... " am honored and 😳 but it was great fun and had a great time too.

I just loved the opening scene, it is an all time classic had me in splits. 🤣 😆 😆

Even the Zindagi ek pyaas bankar reh gayee was too good what with the poor man staring at her lips and the near missed kiss of his dreams and that look on his face.

Scenes beautifully synchronized with the song and the concept behind the video yet without appearing to make fun of his emotions or sensitivities.

Liked the bit where Ridz walks away from him on the terrace after the opening scene, the coffee bit too.

The last one where he is so lost almost puzzled and watches her walking away is really fitting.

All in all very enjoyable.

I knew ... you'd understand the take on the video... I jus knew it.... the essence of the video wouldnt escape your sensibilities at all!!!

Awww, cmawwwn now that was not such a surprise... it was while I was talking to you, I got the idea and we took the mickey outta the character... and no doubt now, that Armaan is my fav character so far... for the various facets to his persona that he has! This my dedication to him and to the actor himself , who makes him so real !

I just loved the opening scene, it is an all time classic had me in splits. 🤣 😆 😆 Spontaneous thought... is all I gotta say... it jus came in suddenly and I jus started off!!!

Even the Zindagi ek pyaas bankar reh gayee was too good what with the poor man staring at her lips and the near missed kiss of his dreams and that look on his face. Oh that was what got me starting off with the idea!!! I absolutely loved the way , the near kiss miss.... affected the poor guy and his desperation for the expression... given all the lighter vein aspect to the situation!

Scenes beautifully synchronized with the song and the concept behind the video yet without appearing to make fun of his emotions or sensitivities. Oh yeah , the character Armaan is one , I admire and respect and no matter how lightly some incidents are taken or shown , the underlying emotions masked in humor are jus as real and painful too!

Liked the bit where Ridz walks away from him on the terrace after the opening scene, the coffee bit too. I loved the coffe bit!!! It was my fav!

The last one where he is so lost almost puzzled and watches her walking away is really fitting. I wanted an ending , where there was hope... and yet seemed hopeless at the moment... Hope Floats remember! 😉

All in all very enjoyable. Made my day!! Am sooooooo happy you enjoyed the video!

Well it is amazing how Armaan is potrayed so realistically by KSG but it was real fun to see the whole thing with comic relief to it and you did acknowledge the underlying pain too. Yeah am hope does float.

Yeah Gina, second that, that Armaan is made to seem as real as can be, by KSG and thanks to him for that! Yeah my intention in the vm was not to undermine or make fun of it , but bring in a contrast of a deep painful emotion can been seen in a lighter vein without undermining its essence and how the underlying pain in seemingly lighthearted moments can be felt and empathized with as well...

Now that I think of it... Jokers in a circus do exactly that , and we laugh at their pain, that they hide behind those comic faces... Ok, I seem to have again gone off on a tangent... but I couldnt help but wonder..!!! Hmm!

Preksha , am sorry you feel , that way, but the intention of the video was not that at all.

And may I say , although this aint the place nor the post to comment , but since you mention it , magic of none of the characters is lost, except for the fact possibly that the expectations of the viewers are in line with more of what they want to see, rather than expecting some classic and fine entertainment from the creatives who have truly given us something to chew on and also to feast our eyes on.

Truly disappointing to note that though...

As for me and a few others on the forum , who share like minded views, DMG seems to be only living up to our expecatations what with a few glictches during the propanol , sacrifical week!😉

Thanks for chipping in!

Thank you soooooo much!!!! Am soooo glad you could relate to the concept.

Thank you for letting me know there is a Ghulam Ali version of this song.... was not aware of it. will try and get it , but I had a specific intention in using the female version, to bring in an element of delicate and subtle pain... and an essence of one listening to a song sung on a radio or such , and feel his pain all over again , athird person rendering the lament , while the heart pines and cries...😊

Thanks a lot for chipping in! Means much!
