I would never have thought I'd be laughing through a sad song like that...but the way you started off...especially with that scene of him in the cafeteria with the comically morose face...I just burst out laughing! 😆 😆 I loved that expression too, its my fav , and I wanted the perfect expression of him turning away at the soound of Beh gaye... in the song! 😆...It's interesting how you're able to do that...just like the DMG creative team...in moments of deep unhappiness also, they'll manage to find a way of making things lighthearted. The mood of the vid does get relatively somber later on, and that was very well done as well! Yes, coz their relation did progress as well , even though the lighter moments were a part!

Thank you sooooo much Ruchi!!! Am so glad you enjoyed the video! Well like I mentioned in teh post, the choice of song was part spontaneous and part intentional as well... considering the take I had on the combination....

The opening piece was a spur of the moment thought and something I jus had , when I thought of Armaan , everyone has... of having a family... and sense of completion to their lives... and well... thats how it all flowed...!

Yeah , I did choose intentionally , the most enjoyable expressions of Armaan , to bring out the underlying pain... that was camauflauged in his expressions and lighthearted demeanor!

Am glad the video had the effect... thank you so much for chipping!

Initially, i was sarcastic as to why female voice whn a man's pain is being depicted, but then as the video played for the first 15-20 seconds, i got it tht the pain in this love story is being narrated by the female voice in the background. Yeah... am glad the intent of it was clear...thank you soooo much!!! And yeah am really happy the surprise element of the female version had its desired effect tooo!!! 😉
And then came the stanza:
"Shayad unka akhri ho yeh sitam"
the video and the lyrics matched so well and i was completely mesmerised....kya batau...u could feel the agony and frustration. Armaan walking lonely in the corridors was a good thing to be included. Thank you soooooo much, you really noticed the subtle things I included in the video... makes my effort on the video worth the while...

i m sure whoever watches it will rem'ber it forever coz we have always seen VMs tht r romantic or with a fun element in it...but if seen in a different way...there is sadness in their story too...after the heer-ranjha incident, had teh creatives decided it would have taken a diff look.since they didnt do it, you have done it very well. Thank you soooooo much, that is such a huge compliment... really ! Thank you , am deeply humbled!!!
and we DMGians needed something frm their love story- just to keep ourselves hooked to it. Aaah well....
I m back to seeing the older epi...and feel all the more mad (like i was before) abt DMG. Well, I dare say... I cant really relate to that.... coz I am super duper happy the way DMG is now... after the little glitch of the propanol and sacrificial drama queen act!!!

And yes, even i didnt know that there was a male version of the song. Oh that was a surprise for me too! And I am trying to get the male version of the song... to download!
