Beautiful, just beautiful Sareeta!! 👏 👏 👏 When I feel mostly speechless, that seems to be the only word I'm capable of parroting 😆 😆

I see more and more glimpses of you strewn across the story with each part...the not liking certain words part again...so you prefer wish instead of desire?? 😉 😆 😆 The twirling part was adorable as well, I think I might have mentioned that in my previous comment.

Is Niha supposed to be molded along the lines of Minnie?? Cuz until you mentioned her name...I was hoping it will be her for a second there....Her relationship with Armaan has slight shades of the Armaan-Minnie relationship...especially the ruffling the fringes part...for some reason, it reminds me of the way he holds her chin, and kisses her forehead...it is just so amazingly adorable!! Also, her fear of needles...really reminded me of Minnie's fear of the same...or maybe I'm just missing her so much, that I'm looking for similarities.

I love the little names they have for each other...Princess and Boring Angel 😆 😆...especially liked the way she reached the conclusion of doctors being "boring angels" 😆 😆

Can't wait to read the next part...Niha is a total sweetheart...I think she's got all of us under her spell just like Dr. Sunshine himself 😉

While I am elated that you find glimpses of me strewn across the story... I was a tad disappointed you felt it was the same as Minnie as well... coz there was no intention of it..and Niha was as real a character can be... so yeah the disappointment is with me.. as to how it happened that she is coming across as Minnie to you, coz the girl Niha is as much of me as can be....every little nuance ... is what I relate to... even the fear of needles... and the reason for her fear is substantiated as well I suppose , as opposed to jus the pain of an injection..... albeit through a incident in college... but its nevertheless and dare I say... it was something I went through and so its a page out of my life... and I still have it , the fear... I dont even go near them...

But like you said, may be you are looking for Minnie in the story and that is why you find so much of her... but then again... it defeats the purpose slightly ... dont ya think... Aaah! The woes of expectations! I go through them too!!! 😆 Totally understadn you missing Minnie...but then there is NO Minnie in here... Grrr............😆

Sorry... I didnt intend to get defensive... but its jus that the comparison of the protogonist whether it is me or anyone.. jus disappointed me , coz then it takes away any charm the character or the originality the character may have to it...!

And possibly the climax has not been posted... and so.. it still might not be too obvious! And that certainly is the way the narration was intendeded...to appease to me too as a reader!

Sareeta, I did fear disappointing you...which is why I did say that it might be that way cuz I'm missing Minnie a lot. and didn't you yourself mention a while back that the Armaan-Minnie relationship reminds you of one you yourself shared with someone during your childhood??

Do forgive me, but I wrote down whatever impressions came to me while I was reading it. I guess you were hoping that I would catch the similarities b/w you and Niha...and I went down the Minnie tangent instead. I really didn't know about your fear of needles...I just seemed to recall Minnie mentioning something like that in one of the episodes, so the similarity struck me.

Anu: Perfectly understandable ... I knew where you were coming from and I expressed my disappointment.at the fact that Niha would remind people of Minnie.... coz yes Minnie is a character and her relation with Armaan is especially wht I share with someone his age back then! Yes...

Dont worry, sorry vorry can be saved for another time... but no I didnt expect you to pick similarities between Niha and Me... but sicne you are quite keen .. on observations , I jus felt, you may tap on something!

I guess my keen sense of observation is not as keen as you thought 😉...or maybe I just have a different way of perceiving things. I didn't really intend to take away from the charm and originality of the character...but it's a habit of mine...I feel more connected to things if I find some similarity or connection to them from a previous experience. Don't know if I'm making any sense, but I think that might explain why I reacted this way to the story.

@ Anu: I guess I can understand you stand about having to relate the character to something you have already seen but I guess for me the character didnt make me think of Minnie at all. I guess there is nothing wrong with relating to things but sometimes you need to look at things from a different perspective too. Just my take on the whole issue! It never occurred to me to liken the character to Minie while reading through the whole writeup. Oh and another thing was even if it did I wish you would PM the person and not put it up on the post because for other coming in and reading the story, it might prejudice them or spoil it for them. Each will relate in his/her own way with the character and having a fresh approach and not being biased about the character helps. Just my 2 cents. No offence meant!

@ sareeta....am not going to say anything at all till the story is done! you will understand why when you do post it all up and i am ready with my comments. its not fair to give my opinion now and remember i am trained to read in a particular manner? i will and can give you a layman's perspective, but somehow i find myself getting into technicalities, writing style, character dissection and lots more and till i see the end i cannot and will not offer anymore details about what i feel.

as for minnie and niha...i only saw a similarity in their relationship with the doctor. not the characters per se!!! and then again that kinda realtionship can exist between any two people, one who by virtue of her persona arouses the protective instinct in you and the other who has an inherent tendency to indulge and take anything that comes his way into a warm embrace of his arms and heart!!!

sorry i am so late with this...should never give anybody a time when i am at a book shop. just sat on the floor reading to get the feel of a book and when i looked at my watch i realised i'd been there for an hour!!!!!!

Hey sareeta..its very well written, I love ur style..infact I keep looking for ur posts .
I use to wonder very often & thought of sending a PM , suggesting u to write a FF.Iam sure u must have got many requests.
It was like a wish come true when I saw ur FF on the posts.
The details of both the characters are very well defined, so are the emotions.
Awaiting eagerly for u to complete it.

In one of the posts a while ago I read that u use to write for KAA, and the members waited eagerly for ur posts rather than the soap eppy's...I think u wld repeat the history here too. 👏 👏
