@mujhi....i have no problems helping if u genuinely require it...tho what are the GCSEs??

@ krystal...pertinent question. true that when u compare the storyline to those of the other dramas on air, it is very different, or has been so far. i am very objective about the show and have avoided indian television like the plague so far. just stumbled upon the first episode while surfing, intrigued by the title track cos it sounded like sanjeevani and then got hooked by the youth factor!!

but apart from the freshness and hospital background (which is now a mere backdrop now, not aiding plotlines in anyway), it is not the most original show. the creatives have dealt with some age-old scenes and concepts in a fresh manner and the histrionics is subtle, not over the top. the story is fast paced and not too many flashes of the same expressions on screen...that's about enough for me to be entertained!!!!

and then of course the lovely people here i want to interact with keep me hooked to DMG!!!

your thoughts???

Aarti, those are EXACTLY the reasons why I'm hooked to this show as well!😉...It's the treatment of all the scenes that works for me big time! Like you said, the histronics are subtle, and the story is fast-paced...so I'm hoping it stays that way *touchwood*

@ sareeta...where are ur posts on dr.dad???? waiting to read them...

can u believe i just finished watching last night's episode??? shame uh???

AR fans may be disappointed, but again, point to be noted, it could've been a melodramatic episode with a lot of tears, a lot of bitter diatribes and decibel levels that threaten to shatter your eardrums.

once again, a huge issue dealt with subtly. life goes on as normal, except for a few confrontations. ridz is not shown driving a car off the cliff or walking in a daze on the road and hit by a speeding car....she visits her mom, meets her love, and the next day is back to work. preoccupied with the unpleasant and shocking truth, but not shedding copious tears all the time!!!

as for armaan's reaction...kudos!!! very real and palatable. sure he's going to get angry. how much can he take. like he said...what a way to tell the person you love you do love him for the first time. and before u exercise your right over your love and take him for granted....solidify your commitment. the relationship is at such a tender stage and there is no need for armaan to put up with ridhima's anger.

but i wonder now...if this is the situation and their relationship has slipped back to their old bickering ways, albeit with a little more seriousness backing it, what, then, are these usools that are poised to tear them apart????

@aarti, sareeta, anu... my reasons for getting hooked were the same 😊

And yesterday Armaan's reactions were so natural & genuine.. the hurt & irony in his voice & face when he says something to the effect that you finally confessed ur love but what a way! 😭!(after Ridz unwittingly confesses her love) was very touching. I felt like giving the guy a big hug...and asking ridz to go take a hike 😡

That reminds me should'n a character like Armi's with so much depth & layers be shown interacting at diff levels with the other characters also... I mean I loved his & Atul's brief but endearing encounter yesteday. there is so much scope 'cause till now his relations with most other actors r one dimensional (Atul, Sapna etc), with the exception of minnie & some of his patients.. I miss seeing his other colours (ofcourse I enjoy his red, the colour of love the most). But I wud love to see his friendship with Atul go to another level...I think he needs love & understanding esp. now that ridz is so obnoxious with him... I also want to see his relation with his father explored 'cause one cud see the hurt in his eyes when he spoke abt Shashank being a great dad to Ridz...

And I do want to talk abt the usool bit but hve written too much already.. will come back for that later..

hvnt seen yest episode..thats the real shame Aarti..
but from the update its really a disappointing way to be told you are the object of my affection and thanks for ditching me ..now get lost😆 ..But trust Ridz to do that!Am sure Armaan must be 😕

Atleast we were saved from seeing a ghostly Ridz wandering the city streets at night !Thats some consolation !!

But Ridz reaction again brings out grave folly which is even greater than her childish ways. She expects too much.Everyone must be honest with her about everything.
She hasnt exactly been a saint. She too has lied sometimes for convenience and sometimes to save heartbreak. Then why expect everyone to be holier than thou.
How the hell does she expect Armaan to come clean with the truth abt her adoption when it is not even his prerogative! When her own parents kept it a secret from her for so many years.

@ sharika...fortunately, though armaan's interaction with the others is brief and still not well etched, we atleast see some variation. with the others its a monochromatic depiction completely.

but you are right. the creatives ought to explore armaan vis-a-vis the others too. his camaraderie with atul holds a lot of potential....anjali and sapna are not too far behind. the typical boy-girl buddy relationship between anjlai has a lot of scope, while with sapna we have seen flashes of brotherly affection every now and then. maybe with developing the others' tales, the creatives can enrich armaan's character even further???
