1 YEAR LATER (from the finish of DMG)

The rain poured down as in Delhi almost like there was no end to it, washing away all memories of the city to make away for the new. Shilpa stared at the droplets through her bedroom window, feeling a sense of anxiety towards the future not knowing what it had in store for her. Life had changed so much just a year ago she was an intern at sanjeevani Mumbai, mourning over her lost love but now she was a renowned cardiologist at India's most reputed hospital. She had learnt how to deal with the pain and was moving ahead in life but she knew that no matter how much she tried to move ahead, his memories will always stop her from finding love again but she learnt to live with it and learnt to live in her memories as they held more value to her than anything in her life.
Suddenly she was pulled out of her thoughts as her phone started to ring, the number gave her a surprise as she wouldn't have expected a call at this time of night from the caller. Picking up the phone she said 'Hello SID?'
'Shilpa … oh thankgod you picked up I thought you might be sleeping and anyways that doesn't matter what I wanted to tell you was that you HAVE TO COME TO SANJEEVANI NOW' the last few words shocked Shilpa to her core as she had never expected those words from Sid who knew why she could never step back in Mumbai without wasting all her hard work on trying to forget him.
Forgetting that Sid was on the line Shilpa went back into her thoughts remembering the many memories she tried to block away, only to be pulled back by Sid's voice which was worried due to her lack of answering…she slowing opened her mouth and said 'Sid are you out of you mind? U know that I can't come bac, u of all the people know why' 'but Shilpa ur father needs u, I know u told me not to tell them anything but shilpa Docter shanshank is in critical stage due to a heart attack and we're doing everything to stabilize him but hes getting worser by day so I thought it was only right to tell him about you and your relationship with him'
Those words hit shilpa hard, tears started to form and she didn't care anymore she asked sid 'when should I book the flights for?' to which sid said ' u don't need to do that I've already booked them and I've called ur hospital and arranged for a transfer to sanjeevani as the head to cardiology and I've also called some of my contacts and told them to take care of ur house so that after u've settled down here we can go bac to dehli and shift all ur things to Mumbai… is that ok with u?'
'yeah that perfect so when do I leave' shilpa asked
'you leave tomorrow afternoon at 2pm, ill see u tommorow shlpa, take care' with that sid cut the call only to leave behind and very nervous shilpa…. I guess I should start packing then, Mumbai here I come she thought...
