Chapter 4

'hello Dr. Armaan dr. Riddima its great to see you again….'

Shilpa said doing her best to make the smile look genuine and happy, she could feel sid begin to tense beside her so she slowly gripped his hands to calm him down, shilpa was surprised at her composure as she always thought she would break when she saw armaan again.

Her voice rang in his ears again and again…armaan couldn't believe that shilpa was standing in front of him, she looked happy and content with her life but somehow this made him uncomfortable, he didn't know why but the fact that she was holding sid's hand so tightly and the way sid caught her before kept flashing before his eyes again and again…. He ignored this thinking its just some trick his mind and heart was playing and he let a smile come to his face.

Shilpa…shilpa was here in sanjeevani standing in front of her, how could she be back,,she was meant to gone forever but here she was hold sid's hand and standing there as if she was the happiest woman on this planet. Riddima couldn't believe her eyes and somewhere in her mind warning bells started to rings as she looked at shilpa and then at armaan who stood there with a smile on his face staring at shilpa, registering her every feature…..but more than the fact that her fianc was staring at another woman riddima was more disturbed by the fact that her husband…no her ex-husband was holding another woman's hand and that too tightly ….. riddima didn't know why but the mere thought of sid being with shilpa scared her to her core but ignoring this feeling as shock of the moment riddima extended her hand towards shilps in order to greet her and possibly also find out what she was doing at sanjeevani.

Shilpa took riddima's hand and greeted her then turned to sid and asked him if he was ready to go to which he readily replied and the duo left the shocked couple hand in hand. While walking away sid and shilpa could still feel the stares of the star couple of sanjeevani on them.

Shilpa didn't know how she felt or what she left in that moment of seeing them again but she certainly knew that she was relieved to have that moment end without any complications or issues like those of her nightmares. As she walked out she looked to her side and saw sid looking like he just saw a ghost…pale as a white paper 'now I think I know the pain sid goes through everyday seeing his love walk in the arms of another man every day and I guess I better get used to this feeling' thought shilpa as she turned towards the car ready to face tomorrow with all the control over her emotions put in place and ready to be activated for an eternity.

Armaan felt weird after shilpa again and that too in Sid's arma that he could not concentrate on anything for his whole day at hospital...he kept zoning out of conversations and even showd carelessness when treating his patients. He didn't know why but shilpa coming back into his life had somehow changed his world up side down. On his way home from work ridimma to was very quiet. The couple sat in silence and replayed their day in sanjeevani again and again...somehow they both knew that what they had began to feel was normal was now going to be changed into a completely different board game.
