Second, Shanky must have said about samaaj, but his ultimate goal is his Daughter's happiness, which is Sid. As she's married to him..falling in love with him.. trusting him completely. [My thoughts based on the particular episodes I had watched]
Dhanyawaad. [as in Thank You] 😊

and his daughters happiness cannot lie with the man she loved for soo long..she did soo much for..and she already is in love with ????

Excuse me please. I do not want to go in the loops of AR/SR thing. All I wanted to say was...Shashank as a father is doing right at present situation when she's married to Sid.
Spare me from AR/SR loops please.

and all i wanted to say is....u cannot force a person into something like marriage..which was done and u cannot magnify that mistake by forcing someone to stay in it....which is being done right now !!!

i know my daughter is too good at math...but if she wants to go ahead with arts as her special subject..i would talk to her let her know my views and reasons...but in the end even in such a small thing i will respect her likes and dislikes...coz thats where her happiness lies....

exactly.. Parents support childrens decisions not force decisions upon them but sum ppl will never understand Hun!

He should have helped Riddhima with her grieving,to help herheal herbroken heart, to become sane and then support her when shewas ready to move on. He should have been there for her not making decision for her.
I'm a parent but also someones daughter. I know the role ofbeing a parent and I also know the role of being a daughter.

okay he made decision in haste...but you cant blame him...he freaked out...and ppl were pointing finger at his daughter...he wanted his daughter to live a respectful life in society...which father wouldn't want that??

but still how can you coin it as selfish??...😕

The TM says, that now when shanky needs helps...he's going back to Armaan...thats his selfish act.
Not that he is asking his daughter to stay in the marriage...is his selfish step.

decisions as such are not made in haste! Ridhima has to live with these decisions! Wud u have dne exactly the same as shanks? Wud u have nt thought about the long run? U know ur daughter loves someone more than her own life but yet u wud still force her to marry a guy she hates? Well emotionally blackmail.

but still lemme try

if i did have a daughter like riddhima( god forbid)...who was on the verge on losing her sanity....not verge ..actually she had already lost it...in my opinion, whoever tries to commit suicide is anything but sane....i would never let her make decisions,

aur tum log aise bol rahe ho jaise like sid is ...i dont know...satan??

if i knew my future son in law was a gem at heart and would keep my daughter happy...then why not??i would have made her marry him

aur jo bhi decision shashank ne liye...agar haste mein hi lia...was the right decision

what long run are you talkin about...now dont tell me they were not happy and all that crap...they were very much happy prior to Armaans heroic entry...if Armaan wouldnt have comeback she would have led a decent life wid happiness...if you still dont believe me...shud i send you video links??

does that answer all your questions???

I can understand that he wanted to give Riddhima a respectful life but I'm still wondering is society everything? He could have stood by his daughter. I know going against the society is not easy, believe me I have a long experience in that, but sometimes taking the hard way can in the be better for you. I have many times taken the hard and sometimes very painful way but in the end it was worth it.
