If you all agree, I can surely talk to the chief editor of the magazine and get this published. What say? ๐It's not a famous magazine YET, it started in July 2009, but it's getting popular a lot. It's read by a lot of people. So again if you all want... ๐ณ

Hi Lahari ,
Welcome to the forum and it is so sweet of you to that you read through this post and cared to reply. Thanks to you and Khushboo. ๐ณ
I agree with you that men have a lot of role to play in the state of women in most parts of the society. It is a natural control of the gender - but what is not natural is the cow-like acceptance that women give to such treatment. Men would never rule women unless they allow them to and sadly , in most cases , either women have no voice or else they join hands with men in retaining this unequal balance of the genders in society.
What needs to end is the archaic community wisdom that separates the freedom of women from the freedom of men. Men and women may not be equal. But their right to freedom and basic humanity is definitely EQUAL.
Love and luck always,
God bless you.

So whoever said she'd publish it in her online magazine (sry I can't remember ur name ๐) my mom was ppractically jumping in joy about it....๐ ๐ณ And she likes the "Times Of India" idea too...๐ณI just thought I'd let you know as my mom's opinion is very important for me, and she loved the thought!!! If people are really interested in getting this published, then I or someone else can talk to newspapers or magazines I'm sure!!!๐Tc ppl....๐ค

You actually made your Mum sit through our ramblings? ๐.... I am glad she read what the next generation of women thinks and i hope it gives her a hopeful picture of women of tomorrow. Meenzy had said that she could get this published. Let me see if she gets back at this.
I am glad this post happened. We got to know so much about women in various societies and how they deal with everyday issues and bigger issues.
Convey my thanks to your Mum.
Love and luck always,
GOD bless you. ๐ค
