In my opinoin Shilpa was way too perfect for Riddhima and it's hard to see someone else playing that character, just like only SRK could be raj in DDLJ. okay i am going to give my opinion very frankly so plz don't be offended if i say something about ur favorite actress.
Divyanka-no, seriously she is a bit overweight and would look old with karan.
Amna sharif-she would also look kinda old with karan
Panchi bora or parachi or any of the K serial actresses- no, cuz i can't see them playing a doc cuz they have a strong image of crying/compromise ki queen in my mind so a big nooooooo
Mouni and Shweta salve-like another member mentioned, they don't have the innocence of riddhima
Neha-is pretty but the way she talks and acts is a bit wierd. don't know how to explain in writing
Shweta gulati-she is a maybe choice cuz she cant look seedhi saadhi. she can carry modern roles better.
Jenifer Winget : she probably has the most potential to play ridz. I haven't seen any of her shows but from whatever i saw of her in zara nachke dikha, i think she can look innocent, play pranks, romance with karan and can also dominate karan like shilpa used to do as ridz.
