Ansh will do very well for the common run of male roles in TV, for he will fit into any kind of script. He could not play larger than life characters like Akbar or Alexander, that need far more of presence. But then the actors who can carry such roles are rarely in demand for standard issue roles, or even slightly different ones like Rocky's.

Which leaves Rajat Tokas at a loose end despite the mega success of his Jodha Akbar, and after having done a superb, by all accounts, Mirza Altunia, and a magnificent Alexander, Rohit Purohit has ended up playing second fiddle to a newcomer, in a secondary role, a gray one that will be disliked, if not hated. It saddens me. I can't understand why he took this role.Such is life!

As far as I know RV is the second lead of the series. He's not supposed to be a sideline character. The CVs said that RV and Anaya are here to stay. They're not leaving soon. About the pairing, I think Roha and RanHa are a tie. Maybe if the CVs feel that people are liking RanHa more, they might make them the official pair. It has happened before in hindi serials.

I adore Rohit, my dear Ananya, and I came here only for him. If things turned out the way you expect them to, no one would be happier.

But I have very serious doubts about that happening, and RV's character has been so damaged so soon that my hopes have practically vanished.

I don't believe what the PHs say at the beginning of a new character,'s role. Most of it is pure lies, to delude the actor concerned. A so-called parallel lead inevitably ends up as a secondary character. Mark my words.

They said the.same things about Alexander, who was a historical icon they could not whittle down or degrade beyond a point. And he had a separate track for quite some time.

But then they went to work on him, and pulled him down in order to boost Porus.

Here, the pulling down of RV came within 2 weeks. So I don't raise my hopes unnecessarily. I don't like being badly.let down in the end.

Morever, I wanted Rohit, after all the plaudits he got for his Alexander, to. look out for a lead role in a successful show, and establish himself in that slot. Once he lets himself be identified with roles that are not lead ones, he risks being slotted into that category.

Rajat did the awful Chandra Nandini after Jodha Akbar to please Ekta Kapoor, but at least he was Chandragupta Maurya. He has so far never taken anything except lead roles.

Aunty, this week it is 1.2 l, which is good in this time slot and also turns out to be a slot leader.
You can check Salil Sand's twitter handle. he posts TRPs every week.

That's the most bitter truth of TV industry Aunty. People have a tendency to typecast actors. However, if such shows aren't made any longer they either are jobless or get secondary roles. Rajat Tokas is doing naag job in Naagin. This breaks my heart as I was a fan of him during JA days. Although playing "naag" is vastly different from what he played on screen all this while. So a different character also helps actors grow in that genre.

Aunty said everything what I wanted to say. Nothing to add more. I would only like to say, the producers promote RoHa only. They are the leads and let alone being tie they have way way more fans than RanHa. The scenes, the screen time are proofs. I said it before, there's no RanHa because there is no "Ha" in here. From the beginning it was very much one-sided, still it is, even after 3 years. CVs could have shown tender moments between them in these 3 yrs, but they chose to show one-sided RV's feelings only and made Happy giving awkward look. So it is clear even from their side that it's RoHa. Happy gives romantic looks to Shaan btw, he just dropped abhi abhi.
Because Rohit is a big actor they might made him a villain. TV industry knows nothing about second lead concept. The 3rd one ends up being a villain or is forgotten leading goodbye from the show.

My dear, I have located this Salil Sand on Twitter, but I couldn't find the TRPs for any channel except Star Plus. Where does he cover the other main ones -.Sony, Zee, Star Bharat, Colors etc.,?

And can you remember off.hand the trps for the last four weeks for this show? I am curious as to the impact of RV's character on the trps.

Oh I didn't say you started it. But some people in the forum always make it about RV vs Rocky. I tagged you cause I thought you'd agree with me. It is never about Rocky vs RV. They're two individual characters who are just very different from each other. There's no competition between them.

Aunty, he posts TRPs of all the Hindi shows. I think you missed out.

Our show's TRP has been consistent post leap. I don't know what TRP is generated before leap. I didn't check the TRPs then. Post leap it has been 1.2 or 1.3.

I will try to inform you more. Also if you want to know any other show's TRP, let me know. I will check that too.
