Really? Maybe because these shows romanticize torture? No thanks not interested. This is not entertainment. This is no longer a family oriented show that you watch with your kids. I don't care for back history of the lead. Nothing justifies this type of violent and criminal behavior. The so called lead doesn't even look like a lead but some extra on the show.

The only ones who would like this type of show are those who have sons and are looking to validate poor treatment of women. Those who don't want women to progress and want to hold them back 100 years.

Is it possible to make a petition against such shows and this one? I don't know how and how it is possible to make the channel and makers to see it. I will sign it. Because I fed up.

So disgusted with the show, nothing can save this show, no matter what happens this show is out of my list. Every male in this show thinks of females as lower human brings except Chintu

This show if not taken off air must have a PG18 rating. The violence alone should be a warning that no person under 18 should watch it. We should all not watch tbe show and ensure that it garners no trp.

Dropped the show after a week owing to a busy sched but never expected it to come to THIS. Saw a clip on Instagram and I am traumatized that they would show a character going to such levels of monstrosity. Not just any character, someone who is apparently the male lead, considering we have no clarifications. Enjoying torture is not entertaining. I don't want this love story, even if I don't watch the show at all, this being shown on TV, and people actually 'loving' Rocky is such a setback to whatever progress the world is trying to make. Gul certainly has lost all sense of right and wrong when she agreed to put this to action.
Happy CANNOT fall in love, or lead a happy married life. That torture will leave a permanent scar on whoever suffers from it. WHY are they choosing to show this, as compared to the light-heartedness we would have rather enjoyed. I was not okay with the very first scene after the engagement when he pushed her against the tree trunk but I let it slide because these things are so normalized, I don't think people see the wrong in it. Whatever I saw on that Instagram VM, however is plain WRONG. I agree, a petition should be signed.

I'll be honest I forwarded the scenes today. The sad thing is Beeji saw Happy in that state and did nothing. The next morning she is thrown out of a moving van in a very bad condition. Enough sad. It seems from the precap Happy, her mom and sister will be kicked out of the house.

The only good thing that came out of the episode is that Happy told Chintu that she was kidnapped by Rocky and that Beeji came late in the night and saw her state but did nothing.

I don't know what Chintu is going to do with this information.

Gul has always been like that .arnav pushed Khushi from a building, there's a shivay Anika VM I once saw n was traumatized by the torture,Asad in qubool hai was Maha misogynistic. Those shows n male leads were problematic too. This one to is pure demonic n evil. Gul always had the tendency to show abuse as love, torture as angst. Her female characters r all enduring doormats.A long going on process has resulted in this now.
Abuse is so normalized in Indian tv that hero pinning heroine to the wall harshly is just something normal. It takes it to reach this gruesome level for people to realize this is wrong. I almost can't remember an Indian show with a decent respectful non problematic male lead. They always pin heroines to a wall grab her forcefully forcefully marry her drah her emotionally abuse her. Just a sappy backstory is added n apparently that excuses garbage behavior. This outrage shouldvsh started long ago imo

Hi guys, thanks to all of you for replying!
I am happy that so many of you share my concern and at least there are some of us who realise how wrong this is.

After today's episode, Rocky is literally trying to end Happy's life. He is taking away everything that means something to her- her family, her self-respect. He does not think of Happy as a human being and believes he deserves she is getting everything she deserves, because she is 'tum jaisi ladkiyon ko main jaanta hoon...'

WHAT THE f**k.

I am seriously disturbed and if Rocky is the male 'lead' and Happy will eventually fall for him, then it will be a slap on all of our faces.

Gonna make a new post on this issue to see if we can find some solution to bring this to the authorities' attention.
