Encouraging polygamy on the basis of mutual consent shows a regression to our progress. This is a step back for women empowerment where women are encouraged to develop skills and confidence to get financially independent, and maintain a healthy family and lifestyle. Polygamy is unhealthy stepping beyond the norms of decent behavior and is morally and ethically wrong at all levels. You are also breaking the law.

For society to exist peacefully, we have to maintain logical set of rules. In the name of mutual consent, we cannot do what we want for our own selfish desires without thinking about the consequences. The value of relationship is degraded - human emotions are manipulated and this endemic will lead to other problems in society.

Regressive shows should not be encouraged by anyone in society including the actors, producers, viewers and should be shut down asap. I commend the action of Sidharth Shukla who quit this show for this very reason.

Lol...people have such screwed up notion about woman empowerment..
I have nothing to say..clearly shows why show gets trps and why we the " social preachers " are called delusional...and considered bigotry because we say this is atrocious even if a woman is happy in doing wat she is doing even when its legally wrong and morally very wrong..
Like seriously...a woman shud do wat it takes to make the man she loves giving up her self respect and identity and since tats what makes her happy its empowerment 👏
Where can women who shout about woman empowerment on social media actually succeed when they are countered with such low class arguements, inspite of being educated themselves such people do not seem to understand as to how this is also woman objectification... 😕

Lol!! Women empowerment is not two women having one husband for the sake of love! Women empowerment is nothing to relate with this shit!
Lol we talk about women empowerment and here we are gladly wanting Shorvori and Teni to live with this shitty man!

Wow! Hats off to such empowerment! I won't ever praise such an empowerment!

So if the show is 'objectifying' women or showing them in bad /negative light.. then do you think the TRP audience will continue to watch it anymore? NO!

To me bigotry is the fact that some social media warriors who talks so much of women empowerment & all that don't wanna respect & accept a women's fully conscious choice & decision.

If that's what makes the 2 girls happy.. then why is it a problem? To me, that's empowerment.. a bold one indeed. If a woman makes a choice on her own, which gives her happiness & also not hurting others in the process should be respected.

So no offense, but all the trashing of the upcoming track by the social media warriors to me is bigotry where women's decision is called wrong & not accepted.

Objectively speaking what is going on in the show is certainly not justifiable. In absolute terms the decision observed by the female characters is not taken on a happy note. They have made a compromise so that all can remain under one roof and lead a secured life. Although Shourvari being an educated and self sufficient woman earlier, should have been bold even enough to walk away from the scene with her daughter. This could have gained viewers appreciation. We have to be bear this in mind it is a show not a case of an individual. It has got a prime time status. It is the makers responsibility to include contents that is health in nature also beneficial for people at large. Through entertainment they owe to relay a progressive message which is widely acceptable. After all we can't pass on the buck of social accountability on others, shrugging it off our shoulders. The uproar would have been misplaced if it was directed towards a particular person.

If having relationship with two women at a time is progressiveness, then why to follow the formality of marriage even? There can be as be as many women at Parth's house as he wants, with everyone's consent, and they can stay in live-in happily for the whole life. Why to follow a regressive custom of marriage that binds one man to one woman and vice versa?

FYI, all the shows that top the TRP charts are regressive only. I don't want to mention specific names but most of them have same regressive storylines where doormat female leads keep tolerating abuse, manhandling, emotional torture and trust break from male leads. So its your misconception that TRP audience will refuse to watch objectification of women. TRPs come only with drama.
It could have been called a bold women empowerment in worst case, if the two women had decided themselves by choice that they want to marry the same man, and then found such man and married him. But in this case it is nothing more than compromise.

Its wrong koz even in 2018 or 50 years ahead, 2 women living with, loving and sharing one man will bring out a very nasty feeling. JEALOUSY.
Jealousy is such strong feeling that can burn anyone's strong will, love n may even become an obsession. It slowly kills every other feeling n no matter what strong conviction u have, it will overpower it.

For the time being, this monster feeling is lurking, but tamed in both ladies' heart. Before it emerge, better all 3 of them move ahead in life. Shorvari with her baby. Teni with her own (if she is expecting), n Parth to go n meet l'ange de la mort.

The image of Bhanushali's house as a harem came in my mind n dadaji as Iznogoud! 🤣
On a serious note, as a Teni's fan, i wished her marriage to be intact, n shorvari to stick to her decision to let the newly wed couple be together. But she failed. Apparently she told Parth the truth abt her tumor n the drama she did on purpose. She let this marriage take place when she could have stopped it. So easily. She played mahaan at that time. Why not now? A bit more mahaan, file for divorce, get alimony, take her baby n leave.
But alas, no.
Now i want Teni to leave him. He's not worthy of her. He is USING her! Playing her a fool with her feelings n with her friendship.
Like we say in creole...teni needs to " met li lor lapaille, aller"
