3 month leap

So Om is going to go into a coma and there is going to be a 3 month leap in order to catch up with IB- a little silly tbh because I had hoped Om would somehow be the link between Shivaay and Anika seeing as he knows the truth and also that him and Gauri would get somewhere with their relationship- So unsure as to how I feel about it!

I think it's so that GauriKa's relationship remains stagnant (if they did a 3 month leap they would have to show the GauriKa are content or tolerating one another atleast even if they had flashbacks) they've been clever by putting Om in a coma as Ishqbaaaz gets to move forward while DBO remains in the same place despite them now having the same time frame.

Yes, this makes complete sense! Bummed about the leap though just because of IB DBO has to take a leap too, that's unfair esp because RiKara's story was just starting, Rudy's too but you are right in saying that putting Om in a coma is a clever move since the story will pick up from where it left off thereby negating the effect of the leap (almost)..I hope this time around they actually have a good story for RiKara, we have such talented actors on board yet the CVs are failing miserably at their job, churning out absolute shit!

Initially ... I was uncomfortable with the idea of leap ... Anywhere because I strongly felt that in the parent show ... She should have put some effort to save her marriage ... Not falling in the melodramatic trap... About DBO ... A separation track was a good idea for me as Both of them staying apart would have got a chance to start there story from scratch 😳 ... Keeping them in one frame in the leap period is not an easy idea for me ... Knowing the fact ... That their relationship is of social need and not love ... Anyways even with the coma track ... We can have a new beginning of their story and I hope this time ... The writers don't mess up 😡 ...

although I'm extremely disappointed with this weeks track- I'm trying to console myself by being a little hopeful for a fresh start in Rikara story.

However I agree with most members that like the characters in the parent show they show some change in the look and feel of the characters in DBO too. I really hope Gauri's language gets a little polishing and her clothing.

What would be great if Om wakes up with a memory loss and refuse to accept that he would marrry someone like Gauri who is of a different class and lifestyle of his. Maybe than Gauri would realize what she has to be or become to be a part of Om's life?

Too cliche I know and kinda not nice in a way-- but please don't get me wrong. I'm not against the kinds/ likes of Gauri but if Anika can get a sassy makeover than Gauri deserves it too. She too needs a her mark of her own. she's can't always be a jhalli bhojpuri types. She is insanely beautiful and her character needs a fine tuning to be at par of the likes of Oberoi's. Just my two cents. Again no offense to anyone.

You have to remember that Anika is getting a change in terms of her clothing after a year though I'm pretty sure her language is to remain the same. Gauri on the other hand is merely a few months old as a character and thus it is not exactly the time for her character to have a grand change aesthetically! Her language doesn't bother me so much as her decision to keep coming back to OM does. And with what you said on her having to be fine tuned to be on par with the likes of the Oberoi's- I think it's exactly why they show her the way they do- she's not meant to be classy like them, she comes from a lower class background and that reflects in her uninhibited way of speaking, she thinks right from the heart instead of her mind. She's meant to be somewhat weird and crazy to completely juxtapose Om's character. They have to show that contrast.

Remember Om has to fall in love with her for everything that she is, until then she doesn't really need a makeover. Her language has to rub off on Om to the point where he accidentally starts saying her words. And why does she have to be a certain way for Om to like her or to be accepted by him? Why can't Om change to fit her life? I think the only sane thing the makers have done is keep Gauri incredibly Jhalli because her Pati vrata patni act is really clich, they have to be equals- The wife shouldn't automatically be pushed into a different persona just because she's now married to someone of a higher class or just because she is married.

This is solely my view 😆 Sorry if it somewhat comes off as a rant!

Rikara tho ho gaya. Om going in comma wud make no change in Rikara story. But so far we have got no idea abt woth they r gonna to Ruvya.
