I just started watching IB and this helped me a lot to catch up!

I just have 1 question- Om is seen in IB episodes but he is also in DBO episodes? Are they both happening in parallel timelines? Or what?

Are Om and Rudra stories going to be shown in DBO alone while IB is dedicated to Shivika? How is this going to be handled?

Officially, IB is for Shivika and DBO for Om, Gauri, Rudra and Soumya... I think Prinku and Ranveer are going to be in IB.
It is happening around the same time, maybe DBO is a few days behind.
Though as of now the stories are not interlinked, the characters do make appearances, and in passing the happenings of other show is mentioned. Like in IB, Shivaay mentions that Omkara has not reached from Bareily but it is not mentioned in IB Shivaay going to save Omkara from KT. When Omkara reaches back, Shivaay meets Omkara as if the fight at the train station didn't happen.
Likewise, in DBO, they do have Shivaay's wedding preparations happening in the background but Anika speaks to Gauri on the phone normal way during the time she was faking her memory loss.
