I know a lot of forum members are angry about Omkara leaving Gauri with the goons and going on his own trip, this can be called insensitive...
BUT
This is more realistic than anything so far, in real life, people like the Oberois have no contact with villagers like Gauri or a caterers like Anika?
They have several admin people/ servants etc to take care if all this business, they don't even look at people like Anika and Gauri forget about making friends, caring, getting affected and ultimately falling in love. This only happens in daily soap. 😆😆
Omkara has been brought up in Oberoi house, yes he is shown as caring, an artist, with an open mind towards people, he warmed very easily to Anika and Ishana, but after going through his moms tragedy, he doesn't want to be hurt anymore and he doesn't want to be open. He is protecting himself from the ways of the normal/ downtrodden world and Gauri is very much part of it. In fact, he believes she is one of the bad people.
So, his behaviour is justified so far. Shameful as it may be the societal divides very much exist and drive entire humankind, even today. That's why, Anika is treated the way she is as compared to Tia for no fault of hers and for no good deed of the latter. Even Anika had to make numerous sacrifices to gain Shivaays love, which is not possible for a normal human being, only daily soap heroine 😆😆
Again, tmrw when it's shown that Omkara will marry Gauri, that will be a sheer practical decision out of necessity, not bcoz he is affected by Gauri.
