Basically the Scindias are trying to please Arprita's parents(Yash's first wife's parents) and renamed Aarti Arprita. Yash hated it, but Arprita's parents emotionally blackmailed him, saying at least she will live on... It's hinted later that perhaps all this was more the Scindias' doing (they suggest these things and Arprita's parents are happy and agree) and if Aarti had protested to Arprita's mom, she would've understood. She protested with the Scindias, and he said let the matter rest for now. Vidhi told her not to worry, talk it with Yash once they're married.

They named her after his dead wife 😲

I thought Arti's full name was arpita, and dey jus prefered to cal her by her full name.

Both the shows were brilliant in the late night episode and i am more inclined to PSH. I will wait for you and Rani to catch up.
