Mohans reality check

Mohan is actually understanding the results of his actions on Kastur. Until now it was just about

I don't think he thought about it ... mohan at the time he decided to get married was so occupied in solving his immediate problem that i don't think he thought about these issues ... all he thought about was how to get out of his problem ... and kastur fell in his lap as an opportunity that he grabbed ... only difference is he did not grab it thinking he will use it and throw it out but accepted her as his wife come what may ... this is one aspect he may not have thought about or might have thought about and now when kastur questioned about love he told her the truth

his problems and protecting his mother from the truth.When you see he never asks Kastur what she wants in this marriage and neither does the mother tell him that the wife might have a different view.

He entered the marriage with no plans of consummating it.

Did he really think that his wife will not question him????😕

When kastur questioned him yes ... but not while playing the game knowing she was there ... when kastur questioned him trying to dodge made sense ... i mean he never wanted to bring it on himself and would try and delay it as much as possible ... but when he knew he had no way out he told the truth instead of making excuses

But he really wasn't thinking about Kastur being there at the game. That's the same argument used to why he blurted it out. If you're telling me that he knew what he was letting Kastur know during that game, instead of just answering without really thinking further, to me that makes Mohan a first rate jerk.

If the game had not happened he will wait till kastur asked him and then tell her the truth after trying for as long as he could to avoid the question ... all i am saying is once faced with it he was not going to lie about it ... and he did not ... the question came out in game his bad luck but yes he said what was on his mind without thinking about kastur ... but if game was not there and kastur had asked him i don't think answer would be any different or he would have lied to her ... yes he would avoid it for as long as he could but once faced with it he was never going to lie about it, is all i am saying

I agree he was not going to lie about it. (Well, lie by omission and not complete truth.)

And i clearly wrote whenever she would ask ... they could not come back tired every night for the rest of their lives could they? She was bound to ask some day and i am talking about that day, it did not have to be in ali bagh. Like i said whenever asked he would not lie about the fact that he does not love her!!!

And Mohan always has had this guilt of being unfair to kastur, i have felt it atleast but yea he did ignore it to solve his own mess, no denying that but he has known it all along he is being unfair to her ... again this is how i see it, you have your own perception, i have my own ... he cares for her even when he does not love her, so i don't think he is totally in considerate of how all this will make her feel
